Shakthi studied acting and directing in Balu Mahendra’s Cinema Pattarai. Balu Mahendra adopted Shakthi during her studies in acting. She learnt editing from Sreekar Prasad. She got work and acted in Thalaimuraigal (her first movie). She likes Karthi to work with her in any movies.
