Prakash Belawadi is a famous Indian journalist, activist, TV and film personality, and a theater artist. Born in the erstwhile state of Mysore, now Bangalore, Karnataka, he was born into a family of famous theater artists. Make-up Nani, his father, was a famous theater actor and has acted in many Kannada films as well. Also, he was a famous makeup artist. Bhargavi, his mother, was an eminent Kannada theater personality. His siblings Sujata, Pradeep, and Sudha, are also famous theater personalities.
