Rishika Singh was born into a family of film personalities. She is the daughter of the famous film director Rajendra Singh Babu and the granddaughter of the Bengali actress Pratima Devi and Shankar Singh, a Mysore-based producer. Rishika, who was born as Rohini Singh, adopted Rishika as her screen name. She was brought up in Bangalore. She predominantly does Kannada movies. Her brother Aditya also features in Kannada cinema. Rishika Singh is the niece to Sangram Singh, Vijayalaksmi Singh and Jai Jagdish who are famous actors. Rishika was first seen in Kannada movies when she debuted with “Kanteerava” in 2011.
