Plot

Due to the bad weather conditions, a flight that starts with Dubai to Cochin had to land in an emergency. Captain Vikrant Khanna is the pilot. Despite the suggestions by Tanya Albuquerque, the first officer, he releases the Mayday message. Did the aircraft land safely? What were the effects of his Mayday message? The rest of the story deals with this.
Star Performance

Ajay Devgan has done a commendable job. Amitabh Bachchan and Boman Irani are perfect in the given roles. Rakul Preet Singh has got a strong role, and she played excellently.

Analysis

Although there are great aircraft landing and crashing movies, this one is engaging. The director, Ajay Devgan has minimized the stars and maximized his potential in this film. Though there are a few characters involved, they created a considerable impact. Although there are a few cinematic elements, the screenplay is gripping. It should be highly appreciated for the no-romance subject. Angira Dhar and Aakanksha Singh should have been given some strong roles to deal with. The production design and the VFX works are good. The BGM is excellent.

Verdict

Ajay Devgan once again proves that he is a good actor, director, and producer. With the wonderful star cast and performances, Runway 34 impresses the critics and the audience.
