PLOT

Rhea (Shraddha Kapoor) who is 18 and is just about to finish her junior college is in love with Luv (Taaha Shah). Luv already is engaged in some contest that requires you to post pictures of girls, and this eventually gives you points and a chance to be a billionaire. Thus, Luv decides to make love to Rhea just for the sake of points. Unknown to the fact Rhea thinks that this is an act of love, but finds out that this is just a crooked game for points. She decides to teach Luv the lesson of his life. She creates troubles in his life by making him look like a gay, stealing his credit cards and buying posters of hot men to make his family believe that he is homosexual. As the plan succeeds and Rhea and her friends wreck havoc upon Luv, Luv comes to know about them and confronts Rhea and eventually ties her down. The film ends with Rhea finally getting her revenge upon Luv and a friend of her asking her out on a date.

ANALYSIS

“Luv Ka the End” is a warm and nice movie, warm in the sense that the concept here is nice and not so much straining to the mind. A straight movie based on the usual relationship between a boy and a girl that is based upon trust,t and how when one of the partners breaks it he/she pays for it particularly in an intense way as is evident from this movie. The screenplay is peppy and nice, and Shraddha looks cute and childish in this movie. Cinematography too has been very well handled. The only things bad enough are the extended scenes that could have been short.

STAR PERFORMANCES

Of course, Shraddha Kapoor is the winner here. Shraddha brilliantly plays the role of a teenage girl who has hopes and dreams from her boyfriend but when they get shattered she catches hold of him and pays him back coldly. Taaha Shah too has complemented well with her.

WHAT’S THERE?

• Nice concept revolving around relationships and fruitful revenge.
• Satisfying acts from Shraddha and Taaha.
• The screenplay is nice which adds to the joy of watching this movie.

WHAT’S NOT THERE?

• Other actors apart from the lead pair act way more than they should.
• Scene become long sometimes which becomes boring.
• Director has not utilized on small details present in the scenes that had the potential to make this movie more entertaining.

VERDICT

Luv ka the end is a good movie to be watched. What binds you to this movie is its engaging concept and justified acts from Shraddha. Though there are loopholes here and there those are taken care of. One-time watch.
