Plot
Two wayward crooks aim to strike big. However, they get into trouble soon enough. Pursuing them are a local rowdy, some cops, and their buddies. Each wants to strike gold. Who will be the ultimate winner?

The only good thing about this film is the ending. Yes, you read this right.
Analysis
A movie in the Hyderabadi dialect? Not a bad idea. 'FM2 Double Masti' would have been an illustrious addition to the club of 'The Angrez', 'Hyderabadi Bakra' etc. Quite a novel thought, right? The director did not think that way.
'FM 2 Double Masti' looked less of a film, and more of a spoof video. Honestly, that would not have been bad either, if the narrative had some basic logic. There have been some films especially dedicated to the parody genre, 'Ramgarh ke Sholay' being one example. Yet, none of them were as bizarre and all over the place as this one.
The direction of this movie is simply amateurish. It seems as if the director went on a break and asked the acting crew to do as they wished. There is no synchronization between one scene and the other. Some actors played their parts with such urgency as if they had a late-night flight to catch for their next destination.
The entire comedy of errors reminds one of the parody films created within the 2010 movie, '

'. Now the film was no masterpiece either, but even the parody film had some connection to the film, and even if it evoked some fake emotions, it did something constructive. Did 'FM 2 Double Masti' have the same touch?
The camerawork of this film looks completely absurd. This film looked more like an over-extended YouTube video rather than a full-fledged movie. Even the comedy sketches by some YouTubers have better production quality than what was in this film. Would a decent camera cost the producers too much?

'FM 2 Double Masti' is a film that must be preserved in the archives if possible. Minu Khan could have etched his name in golden letters. The film, sadly, didn't turn out that way.
