Plot
Costao Fernandes was a customs officer in Goa. Costao’s dedication in his work takes him to reveal a gold smuggling syndicate. He works hard to expose the smugglers and faces various challenges. His sincerity results in conflict with the smugglers, which leads to some tense events. How did he manage? Will he succeed in his profession and clear the smugglers? The rest of the film showcases that.
Star Performance
Nawazuddin Siddiqui plays his role well. Though he had a little scope, he did complete justice to the given role.
Analysis
The screenplay is not at the right pace. The film starts well but slips in its pace after Costao’s family story starts. Their family fights drag the length. Besides this, the corrupted officials and criminals seem to be predictable. Though those sequences are a must, they slow down the story’s pace. Despite having Goa’s backdrop, the visuals are not so good. The songs and BGM are not impressive. The film should’ve captured the life events of Costao as they are, but due to its weak writing, it misses that.
