Plot

Savitri, a middle-aged woman, is dissatisfied with her current situation. She has an unemployed son, a teen daughter, and a husband, who has failed to provide her emotional and financial security. She tries to find fulfillment in relationships outside her marriage, only to realize that men are the same beneath different faces.

Star Performance

Mohan Agashe plays 5-6 different characters in the movie by maintaining the originality in every role. Lillette plays Savitri, and she is the center of the drama and does a wonderful job of portraying a middle-class woman. The other actors did a solid job too.

Analysis

The first half of the movie shows us the messy relationships in the family, with Mahendra unexpectedly leaving the family one day and Savitri deciding to not care about anyone's wishes but her own. They won't show the reasons behind the character's actions in the beginning, but as the story moves on everything is revealed including the meaning of Aadhe Adhure. There are many painful secrets and emotions in the movie which will interest the viewers. This movie shows the unexplained meaning behind failed marriages and parenthood.
