Analysis
The director has starred himself and is supposed to be doing something that he loves, but not once the film has shown that. The film shows that if you’ve made it to the big leagues only then you can win. The film nowhere showcases the love for the artform, it's filled with angst, frustration. We’re supposed to connect with an indie filmmaker who drives a red BMW lives in a one bedroom apartment in Seattle, even the city’s vibe is nowhere seen in the film except the skylines even they are of no use. As a struggling filmmaker his hard work is not enough to be appreciated; it's the people of other departments that do their work and then push him forward to take the credit. The acting is honestly flat, its visible on camera that they are putting an act on which discredits what acting is. The film loses its pace in the second half and feels lengthy. Ultra Low is a below-average drama that fails to connect to the audience with its cliched narrative and setting.

Verdict
Ultra Low is a below average drama that wants to be taken seriously but the acting, direction doesn't help. You can watch it for what happens behind the scenes when making a film and what struggles individuals have to go through.
