Dumal Warnakulasuriya is a famous playback singer, music composer, and vocal coach in the Sinhalese music industry. He worked as a playback singer for several Sinhalese films like Kalu Hima (2018), Gharasarpa (2018), and Uthuru Sulanga (2023). Apart from singing for films, he has sung many hit songs for several television serials as well. For his singing talent both in films and serials, Dumal Warnakulasuriya has won the Best Singer Award given in many award functions like the Sumathi Awards, Signees Salutation Awards, Raigam Tele Awards, Sarasavi Awards, Peradeniya University, Cultural Department of Sri Lanka, and National Television of Sri Lanka.

He has also helped the Sri Lankan Government’s largest CSR initiative by penning and composing a song under the title Gammadda: The Power of Collective Action, to promote sustainable development and social welfare. Apart from being a singer and composer, Dumal Warnakulasuriya also worked as a judge and one of the vocal coaches in the singing reality show-Voice Teens Season 1 (Sri Lankan Edition), and Ranaviru Real Star. While working on the shows, he guided and mentored aspiring young singers to excel in the music industry.

Dumal Warnakulasuriya runs his music academy where he trains aspiring musicians and singers about the various nuances of music and different genres. The academy students also produce original music and songs which are available to watch via YouTube. Dumal Warnakulasuriya’s songs are popular all around the world and hosts various international concerts in several countries including the United Kingdom. He is also active on social media and often posts various updates about his career and personal life. On the personal front, Dumal Warnakulasuriya is married and has a daughter.
