Diluka Prasad Gunathilaka is a talented director and scriptwriter in the Sri Lankan film industry. He has worked prominently in the Sinhala industry in movies, music videos and television dramas. He went to Sri Medhankara National College Horana for his school education. Diluka Prasad Gunathilaka studied at Vidyarathna University College for his higher education. Later he worked at Media (art) as a director and scriptwriter. He is an immensely talented individual, whose work has been recognised nationally and internationally and it made him earn numerous awards. Diluka Prasad Gunathilaka significantly contributed to the TV mini-series Kalu Sewanella (2014).

He wrote and directed this movie. This movie brought a good impression on Diluka and he gained lots of popularity with this. Apart from that, he has also made contributions to the music industry. He wrote the song titled ‘Digu Kalakin’ (sung by Shaleen Kushalya). His work is not limited to only that but has contributed to the TV drama industry showcasing his talent and dedication.
