Dhanushka Raymond is a well-known Sri Lankan film and teledrama director. His career spans over a decade across various types of cinematography. He went to Mahanama College. He has worked at Studio 48 – Pepiliyana and Dstar Productions. He held the position of creative director at Thinetha creations. In 2016, he joined Vijaya News Papers as a Television Producer. He is a film director at the National Film Corporation of Sri Lanka. He has directed the Sinhalese teledrama Race. It shows the unity between different ethnic communities in Sri Lanka and the fights against those who try to divide them. The plot centers on a group of young go-kart racers. It also highlights some social issues like problems with garbage dumps. He has also worked in the 2020 crime film Parissamin Inna (Stay Safe).
