Raini Charuka Goonatillake, popularly known as Raini Charuka, is a Sri Lankan singer and actress. She was born on April 10, 1992, in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Raini Charuka is the daughter of famous Sri Lankan musician Rookantha Gunatillake and actress Chandralekha Perera and has a sister named Windy Goonatillake. Raini Charuka began singing at a young age, appearing in Rookantha Gunatillake’s Banan Song at age three. From this point, she featured in jingles, songs, and radio performances with her father. Raini Charuka also appeared on radio broadcast channels such as Sirasa FM and advertised for brands such as Naivaaran, Kicks, Wrigley’s, Lanka Soy, Lotus, Munchee, Prima, X-Tra, and Damro.

She completed her schooling at St. Bridget’s Convent, St. Nicholas International, and Wycherley International in Colombo, followed by Susan E.
