Himali Sayurangi is a Sinhalese actress. She was on 18th July. She completed her education from Anula Vidyalaya. She got famous after her work in the television serial Deveni Inima, where she played the role of Udeni. She started as a radio presenter for Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation. Then she became the host and presenter of shows like Pehebara Ahasa, Nadun Uyana, and Nuga Sevana for four years. She debuted as a child actress in the serial Vaadiya, directed by Herbert Peiris. She also got a minor role in Ekamath Eka Rateka.

But her first blockbuster was Sikuru Hathe for which she was awarded with best upcoming actress. After this, she continues to act in the serial Isuru Giri Tharanaya for ten years. She is also a dubbing artist and has given her voice in many radio plays and commercials. She has been part of two plays, Mayadevi and Daskon in Australia. In 2019, she did a radio play Adara Wedilla, by Sirasa FM. She has participated in reality shows like Mega Star. And in 2021, she did a musical mega drama called Divi Thura. She starred in the serial Govi Thaththa for which she got Best Actress at the Borden International Film Festival in Sweden.
