Sanat Dikkumbura is a Sinhala actor born on 9 August. He resides in a small house on Sanskara Road in Dehiwala. He has acted on stage, silver screen, and small screen. He is also a talented painter. His entry into the art field was through high-profile stage plays under the instruction of Professor Ediriweera Sarachchandra. His paintwork in the play Sekkuwa won a State Award. His artwork exhibition, Rebirth of Sana, featured a collection of great people and thinkers. This exhibition was at the Colombo Public Library from 27 to 28 August 2016. His exhibition also featured paintings of visionaries like Maxim Gorki, Socrates, Bertrand Russell, Leo Tolstoy, Galileo, and Aristotle.Â
He is also a skilled makeup artist. He was honoured with the Best Makeup Award for Jayantha Chandrasiri's drama Mora.
