Ratan Laishram is one of the famous Indian actors from Manipur. Ratan was born in Laiphamkhunou Awang Leikei, a region in Imphal. Ratan went to Wangoi Higher Secondary School for schooling. He did his graduation from Mayai Lambi College.
In his acting career, Ratan Lai has worked in several films, including feature films. He did Thang Chani, directed by Bimol Phibou. He did Changyeng, a Manipuri feature film starring Silheiba, who was awarded the best actor by the Manipur State Film Award in 2022. Ratan Lai did a charity film named Gokul in 2022. These films were made available by Epom Media. All these contributions to the Manipuri film industry, make Ratan Lai a celebrated actor in the Northeast region.
