Hamom Sadananda is a prominent actor and singer from the Indian film industry. He primarily works in Manipuri films. Hamom was born on 16th February to Muhindro Hamom and Ongbi Indubala Hamom in Imphal, Manipur. He debuted as a child actor in the film Sambal Wangma in 1993. In the initial stage of his career, he mostly worked in the music industry. He is the producer of a music video named Engao Ngaojabi. Hamom acted in films like Ingengi Atiya, Manithoiba, Chumthang Makhong, Imagi Laman Singamdre, Khuji, Thoiba Thoiba and Mami Sami. He played the role of a militant in Ekhenglaktagi Red Rose, a cancer patient in Da Sadananda, and a brain tumour patient in Achouba.
He has awards galore for his spectacular performances. Hamom won titles like Best Male Playback Singer for Houda Houjillu from the film Nobap at the 7th Manipur State Film Festival in 2010, Best Actor in a Supporting Role for Tabunungda Akaiba Likii at 3rd SSS MANIFA 2014, Best Playback Singer at the 3rd SSS MANIFA 2014, and Best Actor Award for the film Hingbagee Mahao at the 5th SSS MANIFA 2016. In 2015, the Disabled Development Association of Manipur honoured him as Brother of the Disabled.
