Syed Abdul Waheed Jeelani is an Indian music director, vocalist, producer, composer, orchestrator, and cultural promoter from Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, India. He graduated from Amar Singh College in Srinagar and the University of Kashmir. He has over 30 years of experience in the music industry. He has worked as the Managing Director, Creative Consultant, Art Activist, Art Promoter, and Music Producer at Qaraar Studio since 2015. He was inspired by music at an early age and decided to pursue it during his academic life, specializing in genres like Sufi, folk, and light classical. He received training under famous composer and vocalist Ustad G. N. Sheikh.

His ground-breaking cultural performances and album released started a cultural revolution in Jammu and Kashmir in the 1900s. He is the torchbearer of Kashmiri art and made a significant impact on globalizing Kashmiri music. He founded the Kahmir Music Club to nurture young minds and emerging talents and promote Sufi music. He has bagged several awards in his careers, such as The Prestigious State Award in 2018 from the Government of Jammu and Kashmir, The Sa Ma Pa Award in 2017 from the Sopori Academy of Music and Performing Arts, New Delhi, The National Senior Fellowship Award in 2018 from the Ministry of Culture, The Voice of Kashmir Award in 2010 from the Government of Maharashtra, the Artist of the Millenium in 2005 from Kashmir Bhavan Centre in London, United Kingdom, Grade A Music Artist Award in 1993 by the Directorate of All India Radio in New Delhi, and many other awards and honours.
