Uyire – Ties That Bind is a web series directed by Abbas Akbar and Kumaran Sundaram. Media Corp produced the series on a large scale. The series has 62 exciting episodes. The series has the star cast of Arvind Naidu, Ashwini Nambiar, Puravalan, Indra, Guna, Malene, James Kumar, Thavanesan and Nisha Kumar.


Raghavan, the retired army officer, is married and has three daughters. His wife is loving and she cares about the entire family. Raghavan and family are well settled and there are no demands for them concerning money. However, there is a dark secret in his family and when it comes to light, the bonding of the family is being threatened to break into pieces. What’s the secret? Who is the culprit? Star Performance

Arvind had done his job well. His mature performance is impressive. Ashwini, Puravalan, Nisha, Guna and Malene had done their job pretty well. The rest of the stars supported the main cast, well.


The story starts with an interesting note and the directors moved the family story well with a gripping screenplay. The stars are handpicked and they fit well in the roles. The emotional scenes have come out well and the leads had done it perfectly. The relationship between the father and children are neatly executed. Beautiful romance tracks and comedy have worked out perfectly. The directors maintained the suspense well. Every episode is exciting to watch. Although the audience doesn’t know much about the stars except Ashwini, everyone impresses the audience with their natural performances. The music is one of the biggest plus points in the series, which is rich with the production values.
