Uzra Butt was born on the 22nd of May. 1917 in Rampur, Uttar Pradesh as the daughter of Mumtazullah Khan and Natiqua Begum. She completed her education at Lady Irwin College, Delhi University. She moved to live in Pakistan in 1964. Uzra also has three sisters Zohra Sehgal, Hajrah Begum, and Amna Begum. She got married to Hameed Butt and had three children. Uzra was a well-known actress and a theatrical personality. In 1937, she joined Uday Shankar Ballet Company as an actor cum dancer and then went on to join Prithvi Theatre. In 1944, she joined the Indian People's Theatre Association as an actress. She played several lead roles in various plays including Khwaja Ahmed Abbas's Zubeda.

Ruhi Khan is an Indian film actress who works mainly in the Hindi film industry. He is known for “Yeh Meri Family” a TV Series telecasted in 2018, directed by Sameer Saxena and Mandar Kurundkar, and Vishesh Banel, Mona Singh, Prasad Reddy, Aksarsh Khurana, Hetal Gada, Ahan Nirban, and Ruhi Khan played the leading roles, “Kanika” directed by Pranav Bhasin, and released in 2018, and “Kaala Teeka” a television romantic series telecasted from November 2 2015 – April 14 2017, directed by Imtiaz Punjabi and Meesha Gautama, and produced by Tony Singh and Deeya Singh (DJ’S Creative Unit), Simran Pareenja (Kaali Nandu Singh) and Fenil Umrigar (Gauri Jha Chaudhary) played the leading roles.

Jana Malik was born on 26 April 1974 in Lahore, Pakistan. Jana hails from the pukhtun Kakazai tribe family which has a Kashmiri origin. She got a break from the television industry when she was thirteen years old. Her Debut Serial was Reizgar, which aired on PTV Home. Afterward, she was seen in MaighMalhar. And again on PTV with a show called Aangan Aangantarey. She got married to a famous singer, music director, and composer (he also composed the popular Indian movie song Yamla Pagla Deewana) on 2 September 2016 but got divorced in March 2017.Jana`s career turning point was in 1998 when she acted in a Lollywood film Muhafiz. She got a lead role in 2011 in a serial called Aiteraaf, which aired on ARY digital.

Nadia Jamil is a Pakistani actress, who started her acting career in Pakistani TV screen with ‘Putli Ghar’ of Mehreen Jabbar. But her introduction cannot be confined in this single line, because like the versatile characters she has played, her career is also vibrant. She has also tried her hand in anchoring, producing and she is an educationist as well. Her birthplace is London and she was a student of ‘Hampshire College’ where she explored her own ways of delving into the text as well as developing a role. And here her love for directing theatre play, also nurtured. Prior to ‘Putli Ghar’, she was also offered a role in ‘Shaam Say Pahle’ of Mehreen but it did not work out as Nadia was busy with ‘Jaanay Anjaanay’, Nadia anchored ‘Dunya News’ ‘Jago Duniya’. She rose to fame due to her roles in ‘Beauty Parlour’ and ‘Raat Chali Hai Jhoom Ke’. She believes, “At every step ahead there is something to learn”, therefore instead of holding on the bygone period of life she looks forward to discover the new things that come ahead. In a recent interview she expressed her aspiration of making a film and teaching drama. She never strives to be perfect hence she is not afraid of revealing her Achilles’ heels. She has also dived into the AIDS awareness campaign with Salman Ahmed and also made an appearance in the video ‘Alvida’. Directory and writing incurs satisfactory feelings in her. According to her, though ‘Putli Ghar’ will always remain close to her heart being her first performance in Pakistani TV and she had the opportunity of working with Sano and Sajid Bhai but ‘Mere Paas Paas’, ‘Zindagi Badalti Hay’ and ‘Kaali Salwar’ are also important for her.In her recent interview she expressed her love and addiction with Indian Cinema and Bollywood stars. Although she is not interested in Indian soaps. She also mentioned that she is a huge fan of all the genres slapstick, horror, romance that Bollywood has churned out.

Afshan Qureshi is a Pakistani film star. She started her journey to stardom about three decades ago, which makes her one of the eldest members of the Pakistani film industry. The actress is also the mother of Faisal Qureshi, who’s a very famous and loved actor of Pakistan.

Naghma Rizwan is an actress, who is active through web series. Born on 29 September 1992, she belongs to Kolkata. She began her career as an interior and furniture designer, who graduated from MIT Institute of Design. Later, she moved into the fashion industry and became a stylist and fashion blogger. In 2019, she stepped her foot in the industry with a short film, Jaane De Mujhe.

Faisal Rehman or better known by his stage name Faisal is a prominent television and film actor, writer and director from Pakistan. He was born in Lahore but his ancestors were hailed from Afghanistan. Faisal is the son of Massud-ur-Rehman, a cinematographer and his brother Fasih Ur Rehman is a classical dancer. He is also the nephew of popular Bollywood actor Rehman. He completed his matriculation at St. Anthony High School in Lahore and entered the film industry at the age of 14. His first role was from the movie Nahi Abhi Nahi in 1980, which stars famous actress Shabnam. He continued to do films and studies at the same time. He attended Forman Christian College and took up Bachelors Degree in English Literature from the University of Punjab. 

He was successful in his debut film and went on to act in several films for almost ten years. In the early 90’s, he moved to Canada and dwells in the country for five years. Faisal lives in Montreal, from where he learned French language. He is also fluent in English, Dari (Persian), Punjabi, Urdu and Bengali languages. When he came back to Pakistan, he did two feature films and several telefilms and dramas. He was applauded by the audience in the drama serial Malaal, helmed by Mehreen Jabbar. He played as Danish, a shallow and possessive man who marries a girl that is half of his age. This serial received the nomination at the 10th Annual Lux Style Award under the category of Best Serial. 

Faisal is also the co-founder of an association for the actors called The Actors’ Collective (ACT). This was established in the year 2009 in Lahore. From 1980 to 1985, Faisal has done films like Aladin, Yeh Zamana Aur Hay, Nadani, Tina, Doorian, Biwi Ho To Aisee, Love Story, Mehek, Miss Colombo, Aaposh, Naraaz, Dhanak, Palkon Ki Chaon Main, Miss Singapore, Chakkar, Beqarar, Qasam Munnay Ki, Girebaan, Baat Ban Jay, Jeenay Nahi Doon Gee, Agar Tum Na Hotay, Aandhi, Bazar R Husn, Pyaar Aur Pesa, Ghaddaar and Guns and Roses. He also did several television serials starting from year 1997 to 2012. The last was with Kamal Haasan in Ranjish Hi Sahi on Geo TV. 

Faisal also directed World Ka Centre in 2002 and won the Best TV Film and Director, Kali Shalwaar in 2003, Javaid Shampoo in 2004, Home in 2005, Karwachoth, Nausar Baaz and a music video in 2006, and Blouse in 2007.

Qavi Khan aka Mohammad Qavi Khan is a Pakistani movies and TV star, a radio artist and director as well. He was born on 13 Nov, 1932 in Lahore, Pakistan. He married in year 1968 and has four children all settled abroad but he didn’t leave his motherland. He started his career in 1960s at the age of five from Radio Pakistan and then after getting fame he shifted to PTC. He was one of the primary actors of PTV. He started his film actor journey in 1965 and has been part of 200 films. He did remarkable roles in movies such as Durr-e-Shehwar based on husband wife relationships and FBI Operation Pakistan based on military released in 1971.

Khalid Butt is a Pakistani actor and director born  in Multan, Pakistan. He started his film career as an assistant director. He directed many films as well. He is the brother of actor Zahid Saleem. He moved to Lahore, Pakistan, building his acting career in 1979. His acting career began in the 1970s. He acted in various Punjabi and Urdu television series, shows, and films. He is mainly known for his roles in Hum Dono(1980), Ishq e laa (2021), Mujhay Jeenay Do(2017), Tere Pyaar Mein(2000), Laal Ishq(2017), Landa Bazar(2002), Boota from Toba Tek Singh(1999), Love, Life Aur Lahore(2011-13), GT Road(2019), Khai(2023), Gunjal(2023).

Khayyam Sarhadi is a well-known Urdu film and television actor who worked on over 200 stage plays and about 300 television shows. Khayyam Sarhadi was born to Zia Sarhadi, Pakistani screenwriter and director, and Zahira Ghazvani, also a writer, on the 12th June 1948 in Bombay, India. He moved to Pakistan in 1956. He is the grandson of the British Indian musician Rafiq Ghaznavi and his niece Zhalay Sarhadi is also an actress. Hailing from a film family, Khayyam Sarhadi wanted to make acting his profession even though his father wanted him to become a doctor. After much persuasion, he got approval from his family to make a living out of acting.

Kashif Mehmood is a prominent Pakistani actor and a producer, who started his career as a stage actor in the year 1993. He is also doing minor roles in television plays. His breakthrough came when Muuno Bhai offered him for a role on PTV Home’s 'Zaroorat'. In the following year, he acted and produced 'Aashiana' on the same channel. His character as Saif became popular among the viewers and until now, people still recognize him as Saif.
