Uzma Gillani, a veteran Urdu television actress, was born in Meerut, British India, on December 1. She married Inayat Shah Gillani in 1965 before starting her television career. If there is one actress that epitomizes the term "legendary" in the world of Pakistani television, it is without a doubt Uzma Gillani. Uzma, one of Pakistan's most accomplished and inspiring actresses, has gone to great lengths to explore her artistic side and acted with the same fire and love for over three decades. Uzma's career began with PTV's most famous plays Waris (1979), Dehleez (1981), Nasheman (1982), and Panah (1981), for which she received appreciation and widespread recognition. 'Panah,' filmed against the backdrop of the Afghan conflict, which saw over two million Afghan refugees seek safety in Pakistan, was one of her most memorable performances. Uzma's character was an Afghani woman looking for a place to stay. Everybody in the country had acclaimed this role, and she bagged the "Pride of Performance Award" from Pakistan's President in 1982.

She has two older siblings, Rehan Wasti and Adnan Wasti. Her cousin Maria Wasti is also an actress. She got married in 2007. Her husband’s name is Fahad Rehmani.

Bushra Ansari is the daughter of noted Pakistani writer and journalist Ahmad Bashir. She was born in Karachi on February 16, 1954. She did her schooling in Lady Griffin's School at Lahore and from her early childhood started performing in movies and theatres as a child artist. She completed her intermediate from lahore College of Women University and has a B.A degree from Rawalpindi's Viqar-un-Nisa College for Women.
In 1978, she got married Iqbal Ansari who encouraged her to take up her childhood career of acting and after marriage, she pursued her career in acting with great success. Bushra also tried her hand at writing scripts for films and TV serials and there also she was a great success with Neeli Dhoop, Makaan and Kuchh Dil Ne kaha. Her serial Dil Hai Chhota sa, which she did under supervision of her husband Iqbal Ansari in 2010 for Geo TV is considered to be highest rated TV serial in Pakistan till now.
Bushra is a very popular and versatile actress and she is equally comfortable in any type of role whether it is a comedy or a serious role. She is also a great singer and and a dynamic compere. She has won numerous awards for her performances. She received Pride of Performance Award in 1989, a Presidential Award from Parvez Musharaf and a Women's Achievement Award fro Benazir Bhutto. She has two daughters who are also accomplished professionals.

Maria has done over 50 serials and a huge number of assorted plays. Khayyam Sarhadi is a well-known Urdu film and television actor who worked on over 200 stage plays and about 300 television shows. Khayyam Sarhadi was born to Zia Sarhadi, Pakistani screenwriter and director, and Zahira Ghazvani, also a writer, on the 12th June 1948 in Bombay, India. He moved to Pakistan in 1956. He is the grandson of the British Indian musician Rafiq Ghaznavi and his niece Zhalay Sarhadi is also an actress. Hailing from a film family, Khayyam Sarhadi wanted to make acting his profession even though his father wanted him to become a doctor. After much persuasion, he got approval from his family to make a living out of acting.
