Ishmart Jodi was a hit reality show aired on Star Maa. In Ishmart Jodi 12 celebrity couples participated to win the trophy. In the show, they had to do many fun-filled tasks to show that they are the best Jodi there is. In the show, they had to do different tasks to show their compatibility as a pair. Ishmart Jodi translates to Smartest Pair in the English. In the show the celebrities that featured on Star Maa tv serials were present. They were in the show with their real-life partners. Telugu actor Ohmkar hosted the show. The show started on 23 Feb 2020. It was aired once a week but later due to coronavirus and nationwide lockdown sometimes it aired twice a month. In the middle of the show, two celebrity couples quit the show due to some personal reasons before its grand finale. Aishwarya and her Vinay husband, and Ashmita and Sudheer were the couples to leave the show.
The show is said to be coming to its finale just before starting of the 4th season of Bigg Boss Telugu. The show is going to end before the 4th of September. In one of the episodes tv star, Rohit and his wife Mareena, and Mallikarjun, and his partner Gopika, and Prabhakar and his partner Malayaja were there to participate in the show. They did some fun-filled dance performances and competed against each other. In one of the episodes, these celebrity couples had to cook some popular traditional dishes that are made in the village. They had to cook these things in the village style. In another episode, they had to showcase their acting skills as a couple. Each couple had to do some skits, it could be related to comedy, drama, or tragedy. The finale of the show aired on 29 and 30 August 2020.
