Dethadi is a Telugu TV show that airs on the channel Studio One TV every Saturday and Sunday at 2 pm. Each episode runs for about 25 minutes. The anchors of the show are Srivalli and Amar Adithya. Dethadi is a live show where the anchors take calls from the viewers and entertain them. Amar Adithya is a folk singer who sometimes dedicates songs (jaanapada geyalu) to the viewers. The anchors ask the callers basic information like their names, place of residence, native place, occupation, education, favorite actors, favorite movies and songs, etc. The ask the callers to list the famous attractions from their city/village and to talk about that place for a while. In between the calls, the anchors discuss their personal experiences in the places mentioned by the callers. This exchange helps the viewers plan a short weekend away.
