Chat Pata is a Telugu television cookery reality show that airs on ETV Abhiruchi. This show is also known as Aunt’s special- Chat pata. The show airs from 12 noon to 1 PM in the afternoons of the everyday. In this show, they cook different types of dishes with different combinations. The host, with her charming voice and energetic tone, attracts everybody towards her. There are many additional features in this show. No cooking experts, nutritionists, or stars are the chefs of the show. Developing chefs cook in the show. On special occasions like pooja and Pongal times, they cook special recipes to worship the god with it. The show starts as the icon of the women, along with the name of the show displays first. If it was a special occasion, the host brings things that represent the day. Or else she welcomes the audience as she enters the set.

The set kitchen varies from other studios in that it was filled with the traditional ambiance. They decorate the kitchen wholly with flowers. They cook a variety of veg and non-veg dishes, which are famous in Andhra Pradesh. They cook sweets, spices which commonly comes under six tastes. After introducing the chef to the viewers, the chef will say the name and ingredients needed for the meal. Then they start cooking as usual. In between cooking Athamma will give some tips for retaining the taste and texture of food. She also says some methods for fast cooking. She cooks all the tiffin, snacks, chutney, and other food varieties.

Tried out recipes are avoided that would make the audience feel bored. There is a small recap of the dish at the end of each show. Viewers rush for this show as the dishes, are a new and legible way of delivery. They also some tips for pooja and other festivals which are useful to them.
