A Kanyakumari is an Indian musician who is renowned in South India. Kanyakumari was born on 15th June 1951 in Vizianagaram, India. Later she moved to Chennai along with her family. Her father, Sri Avasarala Ramarathnam and, her mother, Smt. Jayalakshmi were very supportive of her decision to become a violinist. They were the one who encouraged her recognized her talent. They took her to Ivaturi Vijeswara Rao, a great Indian musician, and she got trained under him for several years. Then she also got the opportunity to learn from M. Chandrasekaran and M. L. Vasanthakumari, two legendary violinists. P. V. Subramaniam, one of the experienced and unbiased critics has remarked her voice to be as beautiful as the diamond nose ring of goddess Kanyakumari.

Abhishek Raghuram is an Indian Carnatic vocalist born on 26th September 1985. He was born into a family of musicians and is the grandson of mridangam player Palghat R. Raghu. He is also related to the Lalgudi family as his mother, Usha, is the niece of violinist Lalgudi Jayaraman. He completed his BSc in Mathematics from Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda College and then joined Anna University for Post-graduation in Computer Science but later abandoned it to pursue music. He started learning mridangam from his grandfather and did vocal training under P. S. Narayanaswamy. When he was only nine years, he did his first performance under the auspices of the Percussive Arts Centre in Bangalore. He has performed with musicians like T. K. Murthy, Umayalpuram K. Sivaraman, Karaikudi Mani, Trichy Sankaran, G. Harishankar, Thiruvarur Bakthavathsalam, Ganesh and Kumaresh, the Mysore brothers, Jayateerth Mevundi, Mahesh Kale, and Sanjeev Abhyankar.

O S Arun is an Indian Vocalist who has done various albums and singles in the Tamil classical music industry. Arun’s actual name is O.S. Vaidyanathan. His family has a musical background, and he was trained in music, saying it to be their Parivar Parampara. His first music teacher was his father, Vidwan O.V. Subramaniam. Later he got a proper training in classical music from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya and from the Delhi University, where he did diploma in classical music.

V V Prasanna is a Tamil playback Singer with a great melodious voice. The particular contributions of the talented Editor came in the Tamil movies. He has worked dominantly in Tamil Film industry and keeps coming up with some gratifying work. He is a Carnatic vocalist and has performed many classical and Hindustani Concerts. He started his training under the Late. Shri. S.R.V. Sharma, a famous singer from Coimbatore and “Gaana Kala Kesari” Thiru. K.V.Nataraja Bhagavadar of Coimbatore. His skills were further developed and honed by Thiru. Neyveli.R.Santhanagopalan, who’s classisms are very popular and well known.

Ramakrishnan Murthy is a Carnatic vocalist. He is a regular performer at the annual Madras Music Season, as well as at music festivals around the world that focus on Indian Classical music. He is an All India Radio and Doordarshan A-grade artist from Chennai. Ramakrishnan started studying Carnatic music with smt. Padma Kutty in Irvine in 1997. He took advanced violin classes with P. Sunder Rajan in 2001. Ramakrishnan also studied under Chengleput Ranganathan and Lakshmi Narayan of Vairamangalam. R.K. Shariramkumar is currently his mentor. After completing his undergraduate studies in June 2011, Ramakrishnan moved permanently to Chennai and started taking Carnatic music lessons full-time.
