1. Vidushi Uththara
Vidushi Uththara, born Dabara Liyanage Vidhushi Uththara, is a Sinhala television and theater actress. She also worked as a voice artist and model. She was born on 29th November 1991 in Rajagiriya, Colombo, Sri Lanka. Her father, Mr. Vipul Ariyathilaka, is a mechanic. Her mother, Miss. Kumari Deepika Dharmapala, is a housewife. Her elder sister, Dilini Rangana, is a journalist and editor. Her grandfather, Priscilla Opatha, was a very famous singer in the Gramophone era. She got married to Dr. Laknath Prasantha Rajasiri on 24th October 2013. She graduated from the National Gem and Jewellery Authority, Colombo, in 2012. Before starting an acting career, she pursued her jewelry designing career at Aminra Collection from 2012 to 2013.

She is the child of Sri Lankan couple Kumaru Liyanage and Susantha Chandramali. She married Suraj Wijesinghe, a marine engineer, in the year 2018. She has pursued her education in Anula Vidyalaya, Nugegoda, Sri Lanka. Her degree in Business Studies is on hold due to her busy schedule in her acting career. She started her career by working as a child actor. She made her first film when she was just three years old. Her first movie was with her mother, Susantha Chandramali, a famous Sinhala actress, titled Punchi Kumarige Naththala in 1994.

Along with being an actor, she is also a playback singer and a news reader. Ramya entered the world of drama as a playback singer with Chandi Gunathilake’s, Hewayo in 1974. After that, she became the background singer for most of Jayatissa Alahakoon’s plays. She debuted as an actor with Ranjith Dharmakeerthi’s Hasthiraja Mahaththaya in 1976, where she played a minor role. However, her breakthrough came with the 1978 play Mana Ranjana Weda Warjana, directed by Chula Kariyawasam. She played the role of Gunawathi.
