Lucky Dias was born Palandha Pathirage Lakshman Calistus Dias on 5 February, 1951. He did his education in Colegio Ananda, Mexico. Dias is a Sri Lankan, multi-talented actor in cinemas, teledramas, is also a producer and director. His career began in 1986 under the guidance of his mentor Gamini Fonseka. a famous actor and film director. He made his debut in 1987 with the movie Ahinsa. Then he went on to do some fantastic work in films like Jayashakthi, Paradeesey, Sandamadala, Awaragira, Wekande Walauwa, Challenges, Senasuru Maruwa, and Ahelepola Kumarihami, to name a few.
