Born on 23 April 1969, Manoj Bajpai is first a Bollywood actor, though he has acted in a couple of southern films. He has been appreciated by several critics for his good performances. His noteworthy performances were in the films Bandit Queen, Pinjar, Aks, Satya and Gangs of Wasseypur. He has got various Filmfare awards and also many National awards.
Manoj Bajpai is a graduate in history. Before entering into acting Manoj was a teacher. He tried his luck in theater, but was rejected four times. Later, he worked in a theater Barry’s Drama School. His acting career started with a serial in Doordarshan. Later he performed in a minute role in Dastak . He was the male lead in the film Dil Pe Mat Le Yar and went on to act in small roles in Bandit Queen, Droh and Kaal. Then it was Satya that helped him reach stardom. His acting skills gained wide recognition; he was credited with several awards for this role. In this film he acted as a gangster. He also received various awards for Aks. Shool, Daud, Zubeidaa, Pinjar, Road etc. were some the films he acted. His Telugu film Happy was also a film in which he gained recognition.
Manoj has often portrayed offbeat roles and he was widely appreciated for that. His character in the film Rajneeti also received praise and actress Katrina Kaif who also acted in the film explicitly expressed her respect for him by touching his feet. Gangs of Wasseypur is another important film in his career wherein he received accolades for his performance.
Manoj Bajpai is motivated by a couple of Marathi films and he frankly admitted that.
On the personal front, Bajpai is wedded to Shabana Raza, better known as Neha in Bollywood. If one remembers she had acted in the films Fiza and Kareeb.

Nana Patekar is a popular Indian actor who was born in 1st January in 1951. He is also a successful filmmaker and writer simultaneously. He was born in the place named Murud-Janjira which is located in Raigad district in Maharashtra. His parents are Dinkar Patekar and Sanjana Patekar. Nana Patekar studied Applied Arts at the Sir J.J Institute in Mumbai. From his college life, he was attracted to acting and he did attend the inter-college dramatics. He also loved to sketch. He acted as villain in some movies, but most of the cases, he acted in positive roles. Most glamorous movies acted by him are – “Khamoshi (acted as a deaf father)”, “Krantiveer (acted as a gambling son)”,“Ab Tak Chhappan (acted as a police officer)”, “Paathshaala”, “Rajneeti (acted as a political leader)”,“Wajood (acted as a schizophrenic)”, “Welcome (acted as a powerful,but funny don)”, “It’s My Life” and so on. His natural acting is always entertaining to the people. As a successful filmmaker, he is the creator of the famous film “Prahar: The Final Attack” in which the glamour queen Madhuri Dixit was the leading heroine. He is also a little bit involved in playback music. His upcoming movies are “Saamna”, “Welcome Back” and “Yahan Ke Hum Sikandar”.
