Sudha Murty is an entrepreneur, lecturer, and author, born on 19^th August 1950 on Shiggaon, Haveri in Karnataka. She is the daughter of Dr. RH Kulkarni, a surgeon, and Vimala Kulkarni. She completed her engineering course in Electrical And Electronics Engineering from the BVB College of Engineering And Technology. She is a gold medalist and received it from Devaraj Urs, the then CM of Karnataka. After completing her Bachelor’s degree in EEE, she did her Master’s degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Science. Again, she grabbed a gold medal for her excellence in academics and this time from the Indian Institute of Engineers. Sudha started her career as a development engineer in Tata Engineering and Locomotive Company in Pune. Later, she worked for the same company in Mumbai and Jamshedpur. It is interesting to know how she got this job. When she noticed a job call in the newspaper from TELCO, she was interested in applying for the job. But, she noticed it as a gender-biased call and immediately wrote a letter to the TELCO Chairman regarding this. Impressed by her approach, she was immediately called to attend the special interview, and she was offered the job. After TELCO, she joined Walchand Group as a Senior Systems Analyst. While working in TELCO, Sudha and NR Narayana Murthy got married, and the couple has two children, Akshata and Rohan Murty. Akshata is married to Rishi Sunak, who is the Chancellor of Exchequer in the UK.

Sangeetha Katti, whose name after marriage changed to Sangeetha Kulkarni, is a classical singer and composer. Her birthday falls on October 7. She was born to Smt. Bharati Katti and Dr. H. A. Katti in Dharwad, Karnataka, India.

Ananya Bhat is a Playback singer who hails from Mysore and currently, lives at Bangalore. She graduated from the Mahajana First Grade College at Mysore. She sings predominantly in Kannada movies and has now sung more than 30 songs. Some of her songs include Hogabaarade Jeeva from Rocket, Karuvinil Ennai from KGF (Tamil), Baa Neene Nodu from Naanu Nammudgi Karchgond Mafia, Kanna Reppe from Mombathi, Usure from Karuppan (Tamil), etc.

Vidyabhushana is a popular singer from Karnataka. Considered an authority in Carnatic classical music, he sings devotional songs, mainly those composed by Haridasa. His first record was "Dasara Padagalu" and the 100th - "Tanu Ninnadu Jivana Ninnadu" which became very famous. His fame rose as he traveled around the globe, performing in concerts. He was once a pontiff of Subhramanya Mehta before he chose to become a full-time musician. He now has almost 200 records to his credit. His musical training was started by his father, the late Sri Govindacharya.

Ramesh Aravind [born 1964] is an Indian writer, actor, director and producer .He has also acted in few Tamil movies. He did his Mechanical Engineering from UVCE College, Bangalore. His movies are decent, wholesome family films with no vulgarities and crudities but always sensible entertainers.

After success in Tamil films, Kannada film producers started noticing him. His performances in America America, Nammoora Mandara Hoove and Ulta Palta gathered him huge fame. Over the years, Ramesh has starred in several hit memorable Tamil movies like “Duet”, “Keladi Kanmani” and “Rhythm”. Ramesh Aravind decided to work full time in Kannada film industry 14 years ago even while his career in Tamil cinema had just started. Ramesh’s talent found expression early in many plays when he acted in his school days.  Ramesh did movies in Telugu language like Little Soldiers, Rudraveena etc. For the movie Little Soldiers he won prestigious Andhra State Nandi award. After more than two decades in cinema industry and movies in six languages. He had many 100 days films, which is also a record in his career. Ramesh maintains cordial relationship with all the directors and co-stars he has worked with   him in the Film industry.

Ramesh has made a successful changeover from a serious actor into movie roles that experiment with comic roles. Meantime, he directed a suspense thriller ‘Accident’ and the film went out to be a super hit and got him very good reviews from the film industry. Ramesh has also been involved in Direction and directed many memorable movies. His first directorial debut was "Rama Shama Bhama" with Kamal Hasan. Ramesh is known for unconventional ideas, which are portrayed in his movies.  He has acted in more than a hundred films in Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil and Bollywood. He is undeniably one of the most natural actors on screen still breathing life into any character he plays in movies. Ramesh has bagged the Karnataka State award for Best actor twice in 1997 for ‘America America’ and for ‘Hoomale’ in 1999. Ramesh received the eminent film fare award twice for Amruthavarshini in 1997 and for Hoomale in 1999. He has also got the prestigious Andhra State Nandi award for the movie 'Little Soldiers'.
