The season one of the show revolved around two completely different people who fell in love with each other after many challenges. But things took a dark turn when they found out they were not compatible for each other. After marriage, they decided to part ways. When Karan sees Tipsy, it brings back old emotions and his history with her.

He recalls his struggling days when he had Tipsy by his side. Meanwhile, he meets his daughter, Pia. Later in the story, Tipsy becomes stressed over the possibility of Karan taking away their daughter Pia. The love that parents have towards their children is limitless- and so, both Tipsy and Karan want Pia to be with them. Both of them can go to lengths to keep Pia. Karan collects information about Tipsy and her family. The story becomes more intense when Ved, along with the police, visits Karan’s home to arrest him as he had some molestation charges on him. Zoya tries to convince Karan to change his behaviour towards the case filed against him. Zoya thinks that Karan’s ex-wife Tipsy, alone can save Karan’s image and career. She meets Tipsy, and informs her about the whole scenario. She asks for her help but Tipsy who refuses to get involved in the case. On the first day of the case’s first hearing, various clashes occur between Karan and Ved. Things take a sad turn when the judge issues a gag order. The matter becomes worse when a leaked video of Sanam and Karan is found. At the same time, Tipsy is trying to seek custody of Pia.

Karan’s lawyer Zoya tries to put Karan's version of the story in the court while Ved prepares to arrest Karan. But for the sake of Karan’s image, Tipsy defends Karan. She confesses that she still has no regret her decision of leaving Karan five years ago though. In the next episode, Karan leaves no choice for Tipsy as she and Pia have to move in with Karan. Meanwhile, Ved wants to protect Tipsy and Pia from Karan, but he has no control in his hands. Later in the episode, Karan becomes agitated when he is informed that Pia might not be his daughter. He regrets letting Tipsy and Pia to his home. He still loves Pia dearly regardless of these assumptions and saves her from getting dismissed from school. With Ved and Tipsy against Karan, and having no support by his side but of Zoya, Karan’s situation becomes all the more weak. Soon, Ved is successful in his plan of arresting Karan. What happens next? Will Karan be successful in proving his innocence? The rest of the story deals with that.
