Heartbreak Hotel revolves around love and focuses on the nine emotions called Navras. Each episode describes a different feeling related to love. The series takes place in the peaceful village of Matheran in an old hotel.

The hotel is known as the Heartbreak Hotel by its employees since the visitors never find their true love. The first episode is about a con artist who cons rich women; the second is about a cheater bringing a girl to the hotel to have fun; the third is about a criminal who hides in the room of a blind woman; and so on. Each episode teaches a valuable lesson.
