Gyan Sahay is a renowned director of photography in many acclaimed TV series and documentaries too. He worked as an assistant to Govind Nihalani and even V.K. Murthy. The actor hails from Patna. He had the passion for the camera work and did casual photography. But his deep interest took him to Pune Film and Television Institute where he did his degree.
After his graduation, he landed up in Doordarshan where he worked as a casual stint photographer.
