A girl from Kolkata had no dreams of becoming a model or an actress, but by following her inspiration Sushmita Sen she won the Miss Calcutta contest. And from there the journey starts and led her career by setting fashion statements and leading a title with a very beautiful and a talented Bengali actress Debina Bonnerjee. Born and grown up in Kolkata, Debina completed her graduation along with her keen interest in modelling.

Known for her role as the revenge seeking woman, Durga Thakur in the thriller series Ek Hasina Thi, Sanjeeda Sheikh is a renowned TV actress in India. She also participated in the dancing competition Nach Baliye 3 along with her husband and won it.

Born on 20th December, 1984 in Kuwait, she shifted to Mumbai and conducted dancing classes. She never aspired to become an actress. But within 18 months she had already acted in a couple of south Indian films. She entered the world of television when Ekta Kapoor spotted her at a party. She made her Television Debut with the Star One Tv show, Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka.

She soon gained attention and was later cast in many tv shows like Kayamath, Kya Dil Mein Hai, Jaane Pehchaane Se Yeh Ajnabee, Piya Ka Ghar Pyara Lage, and the latest flick Ek Hasina Thi in which her role as Durga Thakur won her critical acclaim.

She won Best Actress in a negative role for Kayamath at the Gold Awards 2008. Further for her role as Durga in Ek Hasina Thi, she won the most Stylish Female award and The Gr8! performer of the year award at the Indian Television Academy Awards (2014).

Apart from appearing in the TV shows, she also acted in a couple of Bollywood films such as in Baghban (2003) as Neeli, in Poonniyaan Selvan (2005) as Priya, in Pankh (2010) as Kusum, and in Johnny Mastana (2011).

In 2012, Sanjeeda Sheikh married her long time boyfriend Aamir Ali, and they are considered as the television industry’s cutest couple. Currently she is working for her role as Durga in the show Ek Hasina Thi.

Sugandha Mishra is the granddaughter of legendary Shankar Lal Mishra. She was born in Jalandhar, on 23rd May, 1988. She belongs to the family of singers and music. Therefore she is basically a singer but has also performed in TV shows as actress.

Sugandha is not only an excellent singer and actress but an outstanding student also. She is Gold-medalist and has master degree in Music. She is now planning to do doctorate in music. She was the 3rd runner up in ‘Hero Honda - Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, Singing Superstar’ reality show.

She has started her carrier in field of showbiz as “Radio Jockey.” It was a prime time morning show at BIG FM 92.7. She has acted in TV shows and serials like ‘Don’t Worry Chachu’ and ‘Chhote Miyan Bade Miyan.’ ‘Don’t Worry Chachu’ is a sitcom in which she has performed lead role. This show was premiered on SAB TV. ‘Chhote Miyan Bade Miyan’ is a TV show that is premiered on Colors. It was a reality show in which younger comedians were accompanied with senior ones. Sugandha was one of the contestants of that show.

Other than this she has performed in ‘Tu Mere Agal Bagal Hai’ which was a fictional comedy series. It was premiered on SAB TV. Sugandha has essayed the role of Pilavakandi.

She is an excellent singer and an outstanding actress. She is mostly performing in comedy serials and reality shows.

Actor Vipul Roy is a Hindi movie and serial actor. He has acted in a number of serials and movies.

He has acted as “Inspector Bhola Pandit” in the serial “F.I.R”, which is the lead role of the serial. F.I.R was being telecast by SAB TV Channel. He has replaced Aamir Ali, who was doing the character of Inspector Bhola Pandit. Vipul got a better acceptance from the audience than Amir Ali for the character. Yet, he does not want to take the credit by demeaning his predecessor. Vipul maintained that the crew was looking for a fresh face and he suited their expectations and that is how he got to act in the lead role. It is a comedy hero subject that mainly attracted him to sign the project. While he was associated with the character, he shared on and off chemistry with the co-star Kavita Kaushik. He says that Kavita is like a child, who likes to play by splashing water on others and do mimicry. During the shoot, Vipul used to have lunch with all the co-stars which he enjoys very much. As all his co-stars are experienced people, the shooting spot was filled with laughter and enjoyment.

Vipul Roy has acted in some of the Hindi Movies, such as “Radha Ne Mala Japi Shyam Ki” in the year 2006, “U R My Jaan” in the year 2011. 

Vipul Roy, who acted as Inspector Bhola Pandit had faced bad experience when he met the Police on the way back to his house from shooting. While driving, he was speaking on the mobile and stopped by the cop. Realizing that it was his fault, he got down and apologized and also showed all the vehicle documents to the cop. The cop took the driving license and stated that the actor should collect it only from the court for which, Vipul Roly pleaded that it will be very difficult for him to manage without a driving license and offered to pay the penalty up front and right there. The cop demanded Rs.1,000/- which was too high compared to the actual penalty and argued with the policeman. Disgusted, he decided to record the proceedings and started to do so. Another cop in the scene spotted Vipul recording, snatched the phone from his hand and removed the memory card from the mobile. Further, they booked him for rash and negligent driving, talking on the mobile while driving, not wearing the seat belt, drunken driving and attacking the cop. 

After three days, he met the jurisdictional judge, explained to him what has happened. The judge understood the plight of Vipul Roy and returned the license next day.

Dilip Joshi, who is a film cum television actor was born on 26th May, 1965 in Porbandar. Dilip is a stern believer of Swaminarayan BAPS. He is well-known to make his appearances in lead comedy roles. He has appeared in a number of Gujarati dramas. Most famous among them is ‘Shubh Mangal Savadhan’. He has made his appearances in many other Gujarati plays like ‘Bapu Tamey Kamal Kari’ in which he acted with his serial co-artists and ‘Jalsa Karo Jayantilal’, which is a serial about estate agent.

They both managed to finish many ghosts like Egyptian mummy, Sweetrina, zombies and many more. But they could not manage to end Dara Koila. He started working on stage at an age of eight. He stepped into television when he was just 13 with Comedy Circus Chinchpokli to China which was telecasted on Sony TV. The other stand up comedies in which he has participated are Comedy Circus, Chhote Miyan Bade Miyan, and Laughter Ke Phatke.

He has also hosted Sab Ke Anokhe Award. Currently, he is seen in the serial of Life Ok named Comedy Classes. He is playing double role in the serial, the role of the woman as Selfie Mausi and the owner of Acne Din Institute which has a bunch of crazy teachers and students.
