Gabru: Hip-hop Ke Shehzade is a Hindi TV show aired on Discovery Jeet. Discovery Jeet was a Hindi entertainment channel featuring informative and drama shows. It was a limited tv show made for 35 episodes. The show started in 2018 and went off the air after 35 episodes. It is clear from its name that the show was dedicated and inspired by Hip Hop, a music genre. The program shows three young Indian rappers who want to make a career in the music industry. Gaurav, Bani and Roger have the same dream of becoming a rapper. They come together to dominate the hip hop market. While Gaurav and Bani start dating, he gets his first big break to sing with Roger. Gaurav’s father does not support him to be a rapper and throws him out of his house. Later he discovers that Bani is engaged to some other person and cheating on him. After knowing that Gaurav starts making bad decisions and changes his name to MC Money. Later in the episode, Gaurav meets his cousin, who is a drug dealer and he starts using drugs and liquor. Then he moves to Mumbai and becomes a prominent rapper. He also uses medicines that are ruining his image. After five years of being a reputed MC, he discovers that Bani, his ex-girlfriend, is now on the verge of becoming a great rapper. He is jealous of Bani’s success and gets into a fight with her.

He starts roaming the city with his fake girlfriend to do some publicity stunt. The stunt backfires on him, making his career go down. Later he gets to know that Bani is now divorced and tries to defame her after a music label drops Bani from their music video. Daljit wants Gaurav to do something unthinkable to defame Bani, but he refuses. Later somehow, people get to know about Bani’s past life. Another rapper got into a feud with Gaurav to destroy his image. They make a scheme to defame MC Money and to ruin his music career.
