Shweta Sharda is the semi-finalist contestant of the famous show Dance Deewane. This girl from Chandigarh is as much a Punjabi soul as is her name. She covered the distance from the small lanes of her city to the hustled expressways of Mumbai for her only love of her life ‘Dance.’ Shweta was the participant on the colors channel show Dance. Madhuri Dixit is her dream aspiration who encouraged her time to time as she was one of the judges in the show.

Shakti Mohan is an Indian actress who predominantly acts in Hindi serials and models for brands in commercials. She has three sibling sisters - Neeti Mohan, Mukti Mohan and Kriti two of whom are into the same field as well. She is generally from Delhi but moved to Mumbai in 2006 and settled down in the city. She finished her schooling from Birla Balika Vidyapeeth, which happens to be a boarding school and completed her Masters of Arts, majoring in Political Science from St. Xavier’s College in Mumbai. She aspired to become an IAS officer and was preparing for the exam that was when life changed course and she took up in ‘Dance India Dance’.

Rohan Parkale is a famous dancer. He became famous in “Dance Indian Dance Little Masters,” produced by Essel Vision Productions. Mithun Chakraborty Master was the Judge in that reality show. Raghav Juyal, a well known name in Indian TV industry came into limelight from Dance India Dance (a popular dance reality show of Zee TV), where he participated and introduced his slow motion style termed as Crock style to everyone which gained him a unique image in audiences and judges and gave him fame. Raghav was born on 10 July, 1991 in Dehradun. He did his studies from Doon International School and also pursued B.Com in DAV College. He also has a sibling Yashasvi. Raghav is a choreographer, dancer and an actor as well. He first participated in Chak Dhoom Dhoom telecasted on Colors TV and then in DID. He is termed as the King of Slow Motion and has a stage name Crockroaxz that is apt for his extraordinary dancing style. He was a finalist in Dance India Dance Season 3 before appearing in DID Little Masters Season 2 as a mentor and in DID Dance Ke Superkids as well. His team won the title under his leadership in DID Dance Ke Superkids. He is a perfectionist in his style and mesmerizes everyone with his breath taking dance performances.

Apart from his dancing and choreography skills, he has also done acting in movie Sonali Cable as Sada and was an integral part of the movie plot and currently he was working on newly released movie ABCD 2 sequel to India’s first dance based movie ABCD co-starring Shraddha Kapoor and Varun Dhawan. He has got appreciation from industry’s top choreographers like Remo D’Souza, Terence Lewis, Geeta Kapoor and Farah Khan even termed him as Wonder of the World. He was also reported to lose his calm on sets of Sonali Cable where he did beat cinematographer of the movie while shooting a music video. The matter was settled there only although the other person had to be taken to hospital for treatment.

Punit Pathak is an Indian dancer, choreographer and movie actor. He started his career as a participant in dance reality show Dance India Dance. He had choreographed Mouni Roy, the famous TV actress in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. Also he had done acting in movie ABCD: Any Body Can Dance as Chandu who is a drug addict but dance changes his life and in the end he dies to a road accident. The latest hike in his career is to be declared as a Judge for Dance India Dance 5th Season. He had choreographed in DID, Dance Ke Superstars and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and tells that he was not born with silver spoon and had to struggle his way up to the ladder really hard to come so far. He used to travel in bus or train and dance was not allowed in his school. He started taking part in college fests only for dance. During that, Terence Lewis were looking for young, energetic and talented dancers and he shined out of the 89 participants he auditioned and was selected at the last minute to dance with him and his group. He has worked with Terence Lewis for four years and now he himself is a choreographer.

His dream in the industry was to work in films but from his hard work that opportunities like ABCD and ABCD2 came his way and now he is both an actor and a dancer. His acting skills were appreciated by audiences in ABCD. Now life has come back to where it all started as Punit Pathak has been announced as a judge on the panel of Dance India Dance Season 5. He will be co-judging along with Mudassar Aziz, the fun loving dancer boy who choreographed in many movies and Gati Siddiqui, a dancer. We must say that it is very rare that an ex-participant is selected to become a judge on the same show. It’s all due to his dedication and he is an inspiration to youth and new upcoming talent.

Salman Yusuff Khan, the fabled television actor entered the industry through dancing. He was born on June 12, 1985, in Bangalore. He has completed his education from International Indian School Jeddah in Saudi Arabia. He did mechanical engineering from Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology, Bangalore. From childhood, he started training himself in different dance forms like Salsa and hip-hop.

In 2009, his audition for the dance reality show Dance India Dance got him selected. He ended up winning the show. This victory gave him an easy entry into the television industry. He starred in the title song of the movie “Wanted”. He also did the dance video for the move “Rakta Charitra”, a Telugu film, in the title song “Dance of Death”.

Salman appeared in the show "Jhalak Dikhhlaa Jaa" season 4, 5, 6 and 7 as a choreography partner from 2011 to 2013. These shows helped Salman to work on his dancing skills and also made him popular among the masses.

Khan’s debut movie was “ABCD: Anybody Can Dance” in 2013. He played the role of Rocky who leads one of the factions in the dance group. This movie created a big mark in Salman’s career. Thus, his dancing skills coupled with his excellent acting skills are an icing on the cake for his tremendous success.

Remo D’Souza, who is primarily an Indian dancer cum choreographer, is also an actor and film director. He was born on 2nd of April, 1972 in Jamnagar, Gujarat and was named as ‘Ramesh Gopi’. He changed his name, when he moved himself into Christianity religion. His wife’s name is Lizelle D’Souza. It is a very true fact that he struggled hard in his life to reach the celebrity place. He is primarily involved in choreography and choreographed several numbers of films as of now.

Raja Hasan is a well-known Indian playback singer. He was born as Raja Hasan Sagar on December 1979 in Bikaner, Rajasthan, India. He learned singing through his father, Rafik Sagar Sahab, and maternal grandfather, Allah Rakha Khan Sahab. Raja’s family belongs to Joshpur and singing comes naturally to him.
