’ system in Islam Marriages. A married couple, Afza and Rahil, were once hopelessly in love with each other, but now they’ve become distant. With huge fights on petty things, and a dull romantic life, they become more and more frustrated towards each other. One day, during a fight, Rahil says the word ‘Talaq’ three times, which leads to their divorce. After a while, when Rahil realizes his mistake and he apologises to Afza. But the old traditions and customs of Islam are to be followed religiously.
So Afza will have to go through the ‘halal’ all over again. Guilty of his sin, Rahil forces Afza into a marriage with Zaid. Zaid has a personality disorder but Afza is unaware about this fact. Things take a darker twist when Afza learns about Zaid’s personality disorder. She is agitated, and has a meltdown, she even tells Rahil that she has been betrayed by everyone. But because of her being a kind-hearted soul, she starts taking care of Zaid, which makes Rahil jealous. What happens next? Will Rahil and Afza ever be together again? The rest of the story deals with that.
