Bhargavi Chirmule is a renowned Marathi actress. She was born on March 29, 1978 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India and was raised in Mumbai-Girgaon. Subsequently, her family shifted to Dadar, Mumbai where she attended Raja Shivaji Vidyalaya High School. She finished her studies at Ruparel College in Mumbai. Bhargavi is a trained classical and Bharatnatyam dancer. Her sister, Chaitrali (wife of Lokesh Gupte) is also an actress. Bhargavi got married on February 25, 2012 to Pankaj Ekbote.

 

She started her acting career when she was about to graduate at Ruparel, where she works in drama and small plays. Until later, she was debuted in the Marathi film, Vishwavinayak in 1994, where she donned the role of Dagdu’s (played by Kishore Nandlaskar) daughter. Later, she become popular for her appearances in several Marathi films and television serials. In 2010, she played the role of Priti in Sachin Pilgaonkar’s Marathi film, Ideachi Kalpana. She was starred as Arundhati Modak in the film, Kass in the same year. Later, she has done films like Dhagedore, One Room Kitchen, Gola Berij and made a special appearance in Navra Maza Bhavra. She also made a special appearance in the Marathi romantic comedy film, Sasu Cha Swayamwar in 2014. She is also part of another romantic film, Ishq Wala Love , which was produced and directed by Renu Desai. Recently, she learnt the lavni dance and performed in Jabbar Patel’s Yashwantrao Chavan. She also appeared in the film, MahaGuru; a film that is based on the popular reality show, Bigg Boss from where she played as the wife of Upendra Limaye.

 

Besides acting in the silver screen, the actress also made her name in the small screen. Her debut in television was from the serial, Prapanch and later, she was cast in Bhagyavidhata. Bhargavi acted in the television serial, Home Minister in 2012. She also donned Star Pravah’s Suvasini, a story of a young girl whose life revolves only to her family. Bhargavi also acted in Anupama and she joined and won in the dance reality show, Eka Peksha Ek – Celebrity Parv on Zee Marathi. She also made a guest appearance on Eka Peksha Ek – Apsara Ali in 2011. Bhargavi also donned Marathi serials like Fu Bai Fu, Shrimant Gangadhar Pant, Pinjra, Asambhav, Anubandh, Char Divas Sasuche and Vahini Saheb.

 

Bhargavi also acted in some theatre and drama; She donned the Marathi drama, Himalayachi Savli under the direction of Dr Satish Rajmachikar and the Marathi play, Zopi Gelela Jaga Zala under the direction of Vijay Kenkare.

4. Ram Sethi

Ram P. Sethi aka Pyare Lal is an Indian actor who is mostly known for his supporting roles in Hindi films like Namak Halaal, Chameli Ki Shaadi, PK, etc. Born on 31st August 1938, Ram grew up in Delhi in a big Punjabi family with seven brothers and a sister. Having been influenced by his brother who worked in the theater, he left home in 1962 to try acting in films in Mumbai. He was supported in this decision by his father, who reportedly gave him 150 rupees as an allowance to be used for six months. Unfortunately, he did not find much success and returned to Delhi a year later. However, not the one to give up, he came back to Mumbai in 1964 and met filmmaker Ravi Tandon (father of actress Raveena Tandon). Tandon was not making any movies at that point but assured Ram that as soon as he could find a role for him, he would call him. With this assurance, Ram went back to Delhi.

5. Deepak Dutta

Deepak Dutta is an Indian Television and film actor, who also appeared in two Bollywood movies Dil Kabaddi (2008) and Bhagat Singh (2002). Deepak Dutta got his debut lead role in producer Ramanand Sagar’s ‘Bhagat Singh’, which was directed by Anand Sagar, and the music was composed by Ravindra Jain. But the film was premiered as a serial in DD despite it was a feature film and reached the audiences. The show was telecast in night prime time for Indian television viewers. Later on, he acted in another movie Dil Kabaddi in a small role. The actor has acted with Rajpal Yadav, Irrfan Khan and Hrishita Bhatt in some movies in the early 2000's. 

 

The actor signed some TV episodes in between 2012 and 2013 and was constantly re-appearing in almost every popular serial that was aired in TV circuits. Deepak Dutta played a father role for a STAR Plus TV’s show 'Ek Doosre Se Karte Hain Pyaar Hum’ that was telecast in 2012, The actor was voted out from the Comedy show ‘Comedy Circus 1” where Indian TV celebrities had to perform with comedian performers on a highly competitive and challenging stage.
