Anju Mahendru is an Indian actress, born on January 11, 1946 in Dehradun. She became popular because of her past relationship with actor, Rajesh Khanna. Anju is Rajesh’s great love, and it was unknown to others that Anju took care of Rajesh until the day he dies. She was also temporarily engaged to Gary Sobers, a former cricket player. Anju was also a model when she was 13 years old. The Indian Urdu poet and lyricist, Kaifi Azmi discovered her talent and introduced her to Hindi film director, Basu Bhattacharya. In 1996, she was debuted in the film, Uski Kahani by Basu and this film is also Basu’s first directorial attempt. Anju has been part of films like the 1967 Hindi film, Jewel thief as Neena, Bhandhan in 1969 as Sonia Sharma and the 1970’s, Dastak. That time, Anju has never been a leading lady, so she moved to other character roles.
In 1990, Anju made her comeback by doing several TV series. She appeared on the Hindi TV drama series, Hamari Betiyon Ka Vivaah as the antagonist, Nupur Malhorta on Zee TV. She was also in the soap, Geet on STAR One as Savitri Devi Khuranna. She played the role of Beeji in the soap, Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai.
Anju was also in the films: The Dirty Picture, I hate Luv Storys, Humko Deewana Kar Gaye, Page 3, Mohabbat Ho Gayi Hai Tumse, Satta and a lot more. She also did TV serials like: Sukanya, Swabhimaan, among many others.

Balwant Dullat is a National Award-winning director, producer, writer, and actor who works predominantly in the Hindi and Punjabi film industry. Born in Punjab, he completed his two master's degrees from Nagpur University. Balwant started his film career as the chief assistant director in the English movie 'Venue India' (1982). Directed by Muzaffar Ali, the film starred Rani Deepa in the lead role. He was the first assistant director of the 1982 Hindi movie 'Laila Majnu ki Nai Nautanki.' Starring Anupam Kher, Muzaffar Ali directed the film. Balwant Dullat wrote, directed, and produced the 1984 Hindi movie 'Ek Sawaal Munni Ka.' The movie starred Arya Sulbha and Suchita Trivedi in lead roles.

Jagjit Singh is ‘Ghazal King’ in Indian music. His fantastic rendition, bass voice, and perfect diction made him popular in every home. This singer ushered a new era of Ghazal singing in the country. His songs such as ‘Woh Kaagaz Ki Kashti’(film Aaj) and ‘Tumko Dekha Toh Yeh Khayal Aaya’ (film Saath Saath), ‘Hoshwaalon Ko Khabar Kya’ (film Sarfarosh) benefitted numerous films too and brought melody back to films. His one song’ Tum Itna Jo Muskura Rahe in Ho’ is an immortal song. As a singer, he was influenced by Hindi film songs since his childhood.

Aanjjan Srivastav is a veteran Indian Stage, Film and Television Actor. He was born on June 2, 1948 in Kolkata (previously known as Calcutta) to a household from Uttar Pradesh. His father is a banker who worked at the Allahabad Bank in Kolkata. He studied Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws at Calcutta University. From there, shifted his focus to acting by joining Theatre Groups in the year 1968 while doing plays at All India Radio.

In 1972, Bharat Kapoor has started his career. From that time he has been working as a television actor. 'Bhagyavidhaata' is one of his most popular television serial in which he showed his acting skills and earned great name. After that, he also worked in a number of series. Since 2009, he is working in the Colors Television and worked there till 2011. From that time, he exhibited his acting skills to the people and entertained the audience of the whole world. As he is in a senior actor, the other young actors give a lot of respect to him and honor him. He is also director of Raeeszada and Barsaat ki raat. He has worked in 5 TV serials and more than 50 films.

Rajendra Gupta is a veteran Indian director, theatre, film and television actor. He was hailed from Panipat, Haryana, India and studied at Kurukshetra University. His father runs a textile business but Rajendra is more focused in working on theatre. He met Veena, his wife-to-be in Indore while he’s doing a play in college. But Veena’s parents are not in favor of their marriage so the two leave Bhopal and got married. They now have a daughter named, Ravee Gupta who works as an actress as well. In year 1972, Rajendra attended National School of Drama in New Delhi.

In 1985, Rajendra’s family shifted to Mumbai and he initiated his career in television. During the 80s, he appeared in television serials like Nukkad, Intezaar, Bharat Ek Khoj and Kahan Gaye Woh Log. Few years after moving to Mumbai, he acted in his first film, Yeh Woh Manzil To Nahin as Vice-Chancellor Asthana in 1987. A year later, he was featured in the Hindi film, Main Zinda Hoon; a film that won the Best Film on Social Issues award at the 36th National Film Award. Subsequently, he bagged the role of Aslam in Saeed Akhtar Mirza’s Salim Langde Pe Mat Ro in 1989. He has done several television serials and films. In 1990, Rajendra’s name was added in the Limca Book of Records for working on over 40 television serials. 

He was notably remembered as Pandit Jagannath in the fantasy series, Chandrakanta on DD National  and as Jagat Narayan, the father of Sudha (played by Manasi Joshi Roy) in the television soap, Saaya on Sony TV, where he won the RAPA award in year 2000. He also appeared in television serials like Shaktiman, Aashirwad, Raavan, Kuchh Is Tara, Ek Kahani, Hum Ladkiyan, and Rehna Hai Teri Palkon Ki Chhaon Me. He also acted as Mahaveer Singh in the very popular drama series, Balika Vadhu – Kachchi Umar Ke Pakke Rishte on Colors TV in 2009. From 2011 up to the present, Rajendra appeared in the main lead role as Kesari Narayan on SAB TV’s comedy show, Chidiya Ghar. Also in 2011, he played the same role as Pandit Jagannath, a Ramal master in the fantasy series, Kahaani Chandrakanta Ki on Sahara One.

Rajendra also acted in a bunch of prominent films like Jaan Se Pyaara, Tarpan, Bhai, Daava, Benaam, Dil Kya Kare, Laado, and Raja Ko Rani Se Pyar Ho Gaya. Among all the films the he donned, he stated that he is proud to be part of the 1989 Indian film, Salim Langde Pe Mat Ro and the box-office epic sports drama film, Lagaan in 2001. He also worked on critically acclaimed films like the 2005 Shonali Bose’ film, Amu; the action crime drama film, Sehar and the biographical film, Guru in 2007. He was also part of the British comedy drama film, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel in 2012 and his latest film, Bobby Jasoos in 2014.

He works as the actor-director of stage plays like Sarphire and Jaheez Hatyare, Sooraj Ki Antim Kiran Se Sooraj Ke Pehle Kiran Tak and Dikhti…Khoob Ho!

Avtar Gill is an Indian Television and film actor. he worked in many movie and television serials. Gill was born at Alakh village in Ahmedgarh, Ludhiana. Gill said that ''My parents were against my interest in film industry but I always wanted to be a villain and so I became one”. His three movies released in 2012, one of them with Akhshay Kumar. He is handsome as well as he is smart which makes him very popular.

Rakesh Bedi along with Staish Shah can be termed as the pioneer of comedy in the Indian TV industry. They both acted in ‘Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi’ the epic comedy serial aired on 1984 in good old Doordarshan. Benjamin Gilani born on November 20, 1946, is a versatile and noted actor who has acted in theatres, TV serials and both in commercial and parallel cinemas. He was born and raised in Delhi, India. Benjamin Gilani studied English Literature from Delhi University and then went on to become a graduate from Films and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune, India in the year 1972. Noted ace Bollywood actors Naseeruddin Shah and Tom Alter were also his batch mates in FTII and in the year 1977 this talented trio opened a theatre company named Motely Productions and also launched a play named Awaiting for Godota. After acting in few theatre for a time Benjamin Gilani started teaching English Literature at St. Stephen’s College, New Delhi. He juggled his career between teaching and acting. From late 70’s through the 80’s and 90’s actor Benjamin Gilani featured in a number of successful and critically acclaimed both commercial and parallel Hindi movies such as Pyaasa Dil, Mukti, Bhumika: The Role, Junoon, Kalyug, Meri Kahani, Pratibha, etc. He also went on to feature in TV shows mostly for Doordarshan channels like Bombay Meri Hain, Apna Jahan, Zindagi, Bhootnath, The Great Maratha, Rahaat, Junoon, Noor Jahan, and many more… Benjamin Gilani also starred in successful Hindi films like Mirch Masala, Waqt: Race against time, 8x10 Tasveer, etc. Recently, in the year 2013, Benjamin Gilani appeared in Hindi movies like Rising of the Zombie, Baromas, and Game and in the 2014 TV movie Sun silk Real FM.
