The series talks about the individual lives of a particular group of ladies that travels via the Ladies Special Suburban Railway train in Mumbai. 

The story starts when three women passengers, Meghna, Prarthana, and Bindu, meet on a Ladies' Special train and become friends. Meghna Nikade is a lower-middle-class, never-give-up-attitude Marathi woman. She lives with her husband, Mandar, two kids, and a father-in-law at a colony in Virar. She dreams of opening her garments business, Swapna Garments, with her best friend, Jyoti.

Prarthana Kashyap is a 30-year-old middle-class, short-tempered but kind Bihari woman working in a telecom company. Her family consists of her mother, Rachna, her unemployed father, and her cab driver brother, Puneet. She is married to a guy named Viraj Parimal and lives in Borivali.

Bindu Desai is a beautiful Gujarati housewife who lives with her Mota Papa, Mota Mami, and husband. She works as a mehendi artist and lives in a high-rise apartment in Goregaon. Bindu willingly acknowledges the truth without any hesitation, surprising Amar. Although she is not living a happy married life, she always wears a confident smile, hiding her sadness.

The series follows the lives of these three friends and their challenges. In the end, Meghna and Mandar have another daughter named after Bindu. Bindu and Amar reconcile and start afresh, and Kangana and Puneet get married. This serial ends on a happy note.
