Shobha Kapoor is a film and television producer from India and the Managing Director of the much acclaimed Balaji Telefilms, a serial production house based in Mumbai. It is now run by her talented daughter Ekta Kapoor. Shobha mainly takes care of the production and administration activities of the company. She has co-produced many cult Hindi serials such as ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ from 2000 to 2008, ‘Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii’ also from 2000 to 2008, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ from 2001 to 2008 and ‘Kaahin Kissii Roz’ from 2001 to 2004.
