Meher Afroz Shaon, also known as Shaon Ahmed, is a famed actress, director, and playback vocalist from the Bangladeshi movie and TV industry. Shaon Ahmed was born on the 12th of October 1981 in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Her father, Mohammad Ali, was an engineer, and her mother, Tahura Ali, was an MP of the Bangladesh Parliament. Shaon received a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Asia Pacific in 2008. She began her career as a child artist in the BTV drama ‘Swadhinota Amar Swadhinota’ in 1988. Her film debut was ‘Srabon Meghar Din’ directed by Humayun Ahmed in 1999. Shaon is one of the leading television personalities of Bangladesh.

His son's name is Utsha Zaman, who is also an Actor. He has worked in 400-plus TV dramas. He debuted in theatre during his study at the University of Chittagong. Masum Aziz debuted in TV dramas in 1985. He was the Director and Producer at a theatre troupe, Dhaka Padatik. His last direction work on stage was Trial of Surya Sen.

Faruk Ahmed is an actor and playwright working in the Bangladesh Film Industry. He was born in Manikanj in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He went to Jahangirnagar University to study Environmental Science and Geography. While still in college, he got interested in dramatics and started doing theatre. He was a part of plays like Cakra, Pracha, Yavati konnar mon, Kirtankhola, and Keramat Mandal. In 1983, he went on to join the Dhaka Theatre Ensemble. Simultaneously, he was doing a lot of social and volunteer work. He also worked with the NGO -Building Resources Across Communities (BRAC). He was first recognized for his performance in a Bangladeshi television drama Baro rokom manus for playing the character Rasiklal.
