Srijit Roy is an Indian director who works in the Tollywood industry. He began his career as a director in the web series Bouma Detective (2017), starring Rohit Roy, Aparajita Auddy, SatrupaPyne, Utsav Sarkar and Riyanka Dasgupta. Roy also directed the television series Tobu MoneRekho (2017), a family drama aired on Zee Bangla starring Payel De and Farhan Imroz. He also worked on the mythological television series Manasa (2018) aired on Colours Bangla. He directed the children’s comedy-drama series Bhootu (2016-2017) on Zee Bangla about a friendly ghost and its Hindi adaptation, Bhutu (2017-2018).

He is famous for his work in Bindaas(2014), Bojhena se bojhena(2012), Cockpit(2017). His latest work is in the movie Crime The Dark Side. His acting credits also include Zee Bangla television film Nimki Phulki. He went to Belur High School from there he studies in Rabindra Bharati University. He lived in Bally, West Bengal, India. He is married to Sayanti Roy Mukherjee on 27th September 2018. He believes in a simple living and high thinking.
