Plot

GV Prakash and Daniel Annie Pope are the best friends. On the last day of their college, they promise that they will get married on the same day at the same stage. How did they make it forms the rest of the story!

Star Performance

GV Prakash and Daniel had performed as usual. Pragati got a good role and she did it well.

Analysis

GV Prakash is actually a talented artist and he has performed excellently well in films like “ Naachiyaar Click to look into! >> Read More... ,” Sivappu Manjal Pachai Click to look into! >> Read More... and Sarvam Thaala Mayam. As Vanakkam Da Mappilei seems to be a youthful subject, he might have chosen this. However, it didn’t work out well as expected. Rajesh’s earlier movies have some good comedy sequences. Boss Engira Baskaran and Oru Kal Oru Kannadi are the finest examples of his comedy projects. He follows the same Nanbenda kind of friends and a friendly mother formula in this film too. He chooses good actresses for the mother role and they impress the audience. In Vanakkam Da Mappilei, he should have tried some better comedy. Although some scenes are good, not all the scenes are impressive as Boss Engira Baskaran. The BGM and cinematography are good.
