Priya Himesh is a renowned female playback singer primarily working in South Indian Film Industry. Priya was born 10 February 1982 in the suburbs of Chennai, Tamil Nadu. From a very early age, she was into singing and had classical training within her family. Brinda is one of the best choreographers of South Indian cinema and Bollywood. Her name comes in the list of the greatest artist of the 21st century. Brinda through her talent and dance moves made it to the South Indian film industry and Bollywood also. Brinda has worked in the glamour industry for past 20 years as a professional choreographer. Brinda dedicated all her life to choreographing and assisting various notable actors.

Nikhaar Dhawan is an Indian Costume designer based in the capital, Delhi. She graduated from NIFT and has made aher name in Bollywood and Tollywood. Dhawan has designed costumes for theatre plays as well. Her notable works include creating costume movies like 'Singham 2' and 'Once Upon a Warrior'. She was also the costume designer for the film, 'Guru'. 

Anushka Shetty is the popular South Indian star who is very famous for her work in Arundhati, a Telugu movie. This film was dubbed in Tamil and made her more popular among the Tamil audience. Her first Tamil movie was Rendu with R. Madhavan. Anushka Shetty was not well known during the time of Rendu. It is only through Arundhati, she entered the hearts of the people. She masters all the roles given to her. She has paired with almost all the top stars of South Indian film industry right from Rajini Kanth. She paired Super Star in the film Linga and got a decent role in that film.

Janaki Sabesh is renowned for playing mother roles to various top actors. Her main area of interest is Tamil and Telugu films. 

Hailing from a Palghat Iyer family, Janaki pursued her schooling in New Delhi. Later she went on to do her degree in political science, and post graduation in Mass Communication. Janaki’s father opposed her into entering the film industry and she was told to test waters in films only after being wedded. During the year 1991, at her colleged days, Janaki worked in Rajiv Gandhi’s documentary along with Simi Garewal. Then she got wedded. Later she did various roles, including working in ads on TV's, anchoring shows, associating with inspirational lectures, and dubbing. Her debut film was the Tamil flick Minsara Kanavu, during the year 1997. Here she enacted the role of a nun. She also worked in the 1998 flick Jeans as Aishwarya Rai’s mother. She has over 25 films to her credit. 

Janaki Sabesh has a charm in her, which attracts her to the audience. Janaki feels that beauty depends on your mind. She is at ease donning the role of a mother in her film career. She thinks that she is lucky to tickle the humorous bones of the audience. Janaki considers acting as a passion rather than a full-fledged job. Krishna Priya was born on 26th April 1990 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. She was born and brought up in Chennai.  Krishna started working in the film and television industry from a very young age. She is well known Tamil television and film actress. Krishna has worked in films like ‘Naan Mahaan Allah,’ ‘Yuva Ratna’ by Narayan Rao Upplapati, ‘Divine Reality,' ‘Red Chillies,’ and ‘Soan Pappdi.’ Her film Soan Pappdi got released in 2015 under the direction of Sivani, was a huge success; she starred in the film along with Shri and Niranjana. Lakshmi or Lakshmi Narayan is an Indian film actress who was born as Lakshmi Yaragudipati to Yaragudipati Varada Rao from Nellore, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil actress, Rukmini who is also the daughter of actress, Nungambakkam Janaki. Lakshmi’s father is a notable actor and Telugu filmmaker who usually does films that deals with significant social issues. Lakshmi was born on December 13, 1952 in Madras Presidency in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

Lakshmi was only fifteen when she entered the film industry. She was first introduced in the Tamil film, Jeevanamsam in 1968 and later appeared in the Telugu film, Bandhavyalu. Then she went on acting in many Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada movies. She became popular after doing her very first Malayalam film, Chattakkari, where she played the lead role of the Anglo-Indian girl, Julie in 1974. This film got her the Best Actress Award in the Kerala State Film Award. Chattakkari is the first Malayalam film that runs constantly in Bangalore Theater for a span of 40 weeks. This film was also adapted in Hindi as Julie and Miss Julie Prema Katha in Telugu. In 1976, Lakshmi received the Best Actress Award in Filmfare Awards for her performance in the Hindi film, Julie. Prior to this, she also got the Most Outstanding Work of the Year in Bengal Film Journalists Association Awards in 1975 for the film, Julie. Lakshmi was known to be very versatile and one of her best performance was from the Telugu film, Panthulamma in 1978.

After the super hit film Chattakkari, Lakshmi was starred in several megahit Malayalam films. She received the 1975 Filmfare Award for Best Malayalam Actress for her appearances in Chanalum (1975) and Mohiniyattam (1976). She started to act in various films together with some of the lead actors and South Indian stars, but her performance with the famous, Anant Nag in 1970 to 1980 that really hit the eyes of many audiences. They were considered as one of the greatest tandem in South Indian films. The two acted with a total of 25 films together.

After the success of Julie, Lakshmi concentrates on South Indian films instead of doing Hindi films. Her performance in Tamil film, Sila Nerangalil Sila Manithargal as Ganga gave her the Best Actress Award in the National Film Award in 1977. Lakshmi was one of the South Indian actresses to win that award for a Tamil movie. Her career as a leading lady ended in 1980’s and started doing supporting roles of a mother and later appeared as a grandmother. In 1998, she was Krishnaveny Paathy, the grandmother of Madhumitha (played by Aishwarya Rai) in the Tamil romantic comedy film, Jeans and as the grandmother of Anjali (played by Kareena Kapoor) in 2004’s Hindi film, Hulchul.

Lakshmi has acted in over 400 films and she also got involved in the world of politics. She took a hiatus from acting and became a host of talk shows like Achamillai, Achamillai. And because of her fluency in South Indian languages, she hosted talk shows in different language like the Kannada’s Du Kathe Alla Jeevana and Neena? Naana? on Survana channel and Tamil’s Kathai Alla Nijam on Vijay TV. Lakshmi also try his hand in directing the Kannada film, Makkala Sainya with K. Balachander’s supervision. She was also one of the juries in the Malayalam reality show, Champions which was aired on Surya TV.

Lakshmi was married three times. First is with the Bhaskar in year 1969, a Malayali who works in an insurance business. They had an arranged marriage when Lakshmi was 17 years old and their daughter is South Indian actress, Aishwarya. Then in 1975, she got married again to Indian actor and producer, Mohan Sharma. He was Lakshmi’s co-star in the Malayalam film, Chattakari, but they had a divorced in late 1980’s. Lastly, she got married to actor, K.S. Sivachandran in 1989.

Lakshmi received many awards for her good performances as an actress. She said that she will continue to act until her last breath. She was last seen in the film Gulmohar with her political rival and long time screen partner, Anant Nag.

She married Bhaskar in 1969 and got a daughter Aishwarya, who is also an actress. Laxmi divorced Bhaskar and married Mohan Sharma in 1975 and that too ended up in a divorce. Then she got married with actor cum director Sivachandran in 1989 and settled with him. She has adopted a daughter named Samyuktha in the year 2000.

Being called as Aachi, Manorama is strongly seeded in the hearts of Tamil audiences. This talented lady has crossed many hurdles in her life and achieved a great success to retain her name and place in the cinema industry. She has appeared in almost all the Indian language films and gained goodwill too. Born as Gopishantha, she was renamed as Manorama to appear in theatres. She has crossed several stage dramas and films and has got a guiness record of acting in more than 1000 films. This wonderful lady has started her cinema career in Maalyitta Mangai. The only film she played as a heroine is Konjum Kumari in the year 1963. She was suggested for the role by Kavi Arasu Kannadasan.

Born in the year of 1964, he was an Indian director who has worked on Tamil flicks. Starting his profession as a subordinate to Balu Mahendra, Priyan began his job as an autonomous operator in the 1990s before he commenced as a leading cinematographer in the Tamil movie production in the 2000s.His notable works are with filmmaker Hari. He died due to heart seizure in his home on 9th November 2017. Priyan was born and brought up in Virudhunagar, Tamil Nadu. While he was doing a course in polytechnics, the cinematographer spent his time with his uncle Ganesan during a vacation in Chennai. Having observed his interest in movies, his uncle familiarized him to his acquaintance K. Balaji, an actor and a producer in the Tamil industry. Priyan consequently started operating in K. Balaji's behind the screening crew and worked for the production house of Sujatha International, for five years as an assistant cameraman.

After the success of "Dhinka Chika" song for Salman Khan, starrer "Ready", South Indian composer Devi Sri Prasad, has been getting numerous offers in Bollywood. Baba Sehgal is a multi-talented Indian play back signer who has also acted in various film industries. He began his career as a rapper, one of the first in India. One of his biggest hits was a remake of the popular Vanilla Ice’s "Ice Ice Baby" in Hindi, 'Thanda Thanda Paani’.

Baba studied to become and electrical engineer and went to G.B. Pant University in Pantnagar. He joined the music industry in 1990’s releasing five albums from 1990 - 1999. Almost all his songs were written and composed by him. Along with his albums he has a career as a playback singer in Bollywood, Tamil, Telugu, and Begali films. 

Baba has had a career in acting starring in the 1998 Bollywood film Miss 420. The romance thriller wasn’t much of a hit but it allowed Baba to establish himself as an actor also. After taking a long hiatus from acting in films he appeared in My Friend Ganesha 3 in 2010. Along with films Baba has also appeared on various television shows. He was a contestant on the popular reality show, Big Boss. He put up a fight but could not win the contest. 

Baba has developed an all-round career in India from singing all the way to acting. He however is more notably known for singing than he is known for acting.

Hariharan is a renowned Indian singer, who sings mainly for Hindi and Tamil films. Born in 1955, he is a well-known Ghazal singer. He was also instrumental in bringing fusion music to India. 

Colonial Cousins is the name given to Hariharan’s band, wherein he collaborated with Lesle Lewis. This band was featured in many private albums. Not only this, they have also composed music for a few movies in Hindi and Tamil. 

Hariharan is born and brought up in Mumbai and he is well-versed in Tamil, Malayalam, English and Hindi. Hariharan is the offspring of famous Carnatic vocalists H.A.S. Mani and Shrimati Alamelu. Hariharan inherited the music skills from his mother. Hindustani music was made known to him in his youth. Hariharan indeed, took great efforts to reach the position that he is in today; he used to practice singing for 13 hours. 

During the initial stages of his career Hariharan used to sing for television serials. After winning a prize in a competition at all India level Hariharan was offered to sing in the film “Gaman” by late music composer Jaidev. The song “Ajeeb Sa Neha Mujh Par Guzar Gaya Yaaron" from the film earned him recognition that he rightly deserved. 

The song “Thamizha Thamizha” from the movie Roja was an instant hit and Hariharan, who sung it was awarded the “Best Male Playback Singer” in the Tamil Nadu State Government Film Awards. 

Hariharan was introduced into the Tamil film industry by A R Rahman, who was also a newbie at that time. Since then, the duo created magic with soul stirring songs in films, including Minsara Kanavu, Jeans, Indian, Muthu, Taal, Mudhalvan, Iruvar, Indira, Rangeela, Alaipayuthey, Kannathil MuthamIttal, Sivaji etc. Hariharan is credited with the Padma Shri Award and has received National awards for a couple of times. Javed Ali (Javed Hussain) was born in Delhi in 1982. He has been working as an Indian playback singer since 2000. Ali started his singing journey at a very early age with his father, who is a popular Qawwali singer named, Ustad Hamid Hussain. He is also a playback singer in Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Marathi, Kannada, and Tamil. 

He has been singing since 2000, but his song “Ek Din Teri Raahon Mein” from the film Naqaab (2007) made him famous in Bollywood. After that, he sang hit song like Jashn-E-Bahaara from the Movie Jodha Akbar (2008). He also sang the song Guzarish (Ghajini) and Maula mere Maula (Arziyan). Javed started his career by singing the song for movie Beti No.1, but this couldn’t help him to grow up his career. After that, he worked in many movies like Chameli, Golmal, Ho Gaya Na, Dil Jo Bhi Kahey, Neal n Nikki and Zindagi Rocks. His song Nagada Nagada with Sonu Nigam from the movie “Jab We Met” has been a great hit. Also, his song “Tu Muskura” along with Alka Yagnik and A R Rahman from movie Yuvvraaj had hit. 

He has also sung many songs in Tamil movies like Siragugal, Chinnanjirusuga Manasukkul, Kungumapoovum Konjumpuraavum, Maattrraan, Thuppakki, Alex Pandian, and Singam 2. Shankar Mahadevan, a well-renowned, talented and famous music composer, and singer. An accomplished musician in Tamil cinema, he is a part of the Shankar Ehsaan Loy trio team that provides music to Bollywood and other International films. He has won various Indian and multiple National Film Award. His most famous albums include, “Breathless“- Album that first gave him fame, including the song, "Breathless," in which he sings throughout the whole song without pausing to breathe and “Nine” - Nine is Shankar's most recent album. Each song is a representation of a "mood," including joy, sadness, love, etc. He was also invited by UNESCO and the US State Department to perform at the UN General Assembly Hall for the finale of the International Jazz Festival on 30 April 2012 which is a thing of pride. Shankar has always considered himself as a restless student wanting to learn more every time. He says he’s thirsty and want to learn every time and experiment with something new. He wants to be a perfectionist. Shanker also feels that Karnatak music is the most powerful form of music and he himself started with Karnataka classic which he says is the best to create a prominent base for music. Music is the thing which excites Shanker the most, and he would always be attached to it. Personal Life: Shanker Mahadevan was born in Chennai to a Tamil family but was later brought to Mumbai and was raised there. Anup Dev is a re-recording mixer and sound supervisor. He has spent many years working in the Bollywood film industry with great names like Aananth Mahadevan, Rohit Shetty, Ajay Devgan, late Irfan Khan, and late Rishi Kapoor. In 2006 he won ZEE cine award for Best Re-Recording. Baba Bhaskar is a popular Indian movie director as well as a Choreographer, who mainly works in the South Indian movie industry. He started his career with the movie Kotha Bangaru Lokam, which is a Telugu movie as a Choreographer. Later, Baba worked in the Tamil film Kedi which got him great recognition. Presently, he is taking part in one of the famous TV reality show Bigg Boss Telugu Season 3, which is hosted by Akkineni Nagarjuna.

Robert is an Indian choreographer. He mostly works in Tamil Film industry. He is officially known as Robert, but his full name is Robert Raj. He also acts; either as a villain or does cameos in his self-choreographed dance numbers. Although turning out to be a choreographer later in life, he started out as an actor. He played the role of Mammooty's son in the movie Azhagan in 1991.

Sangeeth is a playback singer who chiefly works in the Malayalam movie industry. He was born in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, to Rajagopal and Shantha Rajagopal. Anal Arasu is a heat amidst the stunt coordinators in the cine industry. He is known to us as the fight master or the action master who performs various stunts in the movies of Indian languages like Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and much more. This simple man was born in Chennai and has dedicated his entire life, literally and figuratively in performing stunts as a coordinator in the movies. His initial times were quite hard. He stepped in as an extra fighter and then became assistant to stunt masters like Kanal Kannan, Stun Shiva, and Peter Hein. His source of inspiration to become a stunt master is his father C.M. Arasu, who has also performed in numerous movies in the 1980s. He made his debut in the film “Chathrapathy.’ He then worked with Prabhu Deva for the action films like Vedi (2011) and Rowdy Rathore (2012).

Suriya Sivakumar is undoubtedly the biggest star in contemporary Tamil film yet most critics would agree that he is truly a ‘real and spontaneous’ actor who can match any character that he plays in screen. His rise in Kollywood cinema came at a time when commercial Tamil films tended to shy away from the dark themes and ambivalent morality associated with film and style. The popularity of Ghajini proved that the level of negativity that the audiences could bear. When A.R Murugadoss selected Suriya to don the role in Ghajini, he knew how it would work with mainstream audiences and was almost right. Truly, this actor had overcome his father’s shadow and moved to be one of the most talented actor, whose films got inspired by even Aamir Khan and even Ajay Devgan. Aamir Khan had showered him praise for his performance in Ghajini and wanted to re-make the same film in Hindi. The question remains still, when Aamir had over-acted in the Hindi version, Suriya had just down played the character suitably. Although Suriya was never seen in any Hindi film (except Ram Gopal Varma’s Rakht Charitra), Suriya’s name became quite popular even in Hindi belt, just because Aamir Khan was doing the Hindi version of Ghajini. Similarly, when Singham was remade for Hindi belt audiences, even Ajay Devgan got inspired to play the police role by just watching how Suriya did the same role. Suriya’s filmography shows that he avoided being typecast and yet proved that his fans would find his films “ an out and out” Suriya’s show. Suriya has made his own identity and was crowned with ‘ dashing star’ tag. The screen name Suriya was given to him by Mani Ratnam. Earlier, this actor had always tried to shy away from camera and never even dreamt to be an actor. In the beginning of his career, one could see him doing some supporting actor role with Vikram and Vijay, but he could steal the show under their nose even. Take the example of his role in Bala's Pithamagan, along with Vikram or even in Mani Ratnam's political drama Aayutha Ezhuthu along with Madhavan and Siddharth, Suriya’s best career time was when Perazhagan got released and his fans and critics applauded him for playing the first dual role in screen. May be after seeing this film, Murugadoss selected him to play the role of a patient who suffered from short-term memory loss and Suriya Sivakumar played his first role (Ghajini) of angry young man who had a rife with corruption and who was blocked off any avenues for justice. Indian cinema had seen earlier only Amitabh Bachchan and perhaps Sunil Dutt (Mother India) playing such anti-hero character so suitably. In 2006, he also had starred with his wife Jyothika( not married then) in N Krishna’ s film ‘Sillunu Oru Kaadhal', where again Suriya had done a fantastic job, He also played dual roles in ‘’Vaaranam Aayiram’’, ‘’Vel’’ ‘’Perazhagan", ", "Maatran" and "7 am Arivu’’, and "Anjaan". He is a few actors in Kollywood whose married life with actress Jyothika, remained untouched with rumour. Their love story too happened slowly when “Kaakha Kaakha” happened, and now they are married and have two kids.

Rahman also known as Rashin Rahman, is a famous South Indian Actor born on 23 May 1967. He was born in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E. and his native is Nilambur in Malappuram District, Kerala. He studied in Baldwin Boys High School in Bangalore, Rex Higher Secondary School in Ooty and did his college from M.E.S Mampad College, Nilambur and St.Joseph’s Abu Dhabi. He got married to Mehrunnisa in 1993. The couple have two children namely Rushda and Alisha. Rahman’s wife’s elder sister , Saira Banu is married to Oscar winning music director A.R. Rahman. He has acted in more than 150 films in Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil movies.

Rahman made his debut with the Malayalam movie, ‘Koodevide’ in the year 1983 with famous Actress Suhasini as the heroine. The movie was very successful and he received several offers from the top directors of the Malayalam industry. He never had to approach any directors for any particular role in a movie as he had several directors knocking at his door with apt roles.
