Amala Paul is the super talented star of South Indian film industry. She is the promising actress that had been critically acclaimed of her work. While dong a television advertisement for Tanishq Gold, she caught the attention of Telugu director Sekhar Kammula and landed up in a supporting role in ‘’Avakai Biryani’’ and went to get her another supporting role for Cheran’s Tamil movie “Pokkisham” (2009). She was also cast in Puri Jagannadh’s movie “Bumper Offer” and was seen in the controversial role of a sex worker in ‘’Veppam’’ directed by Anjana Ali Khan and produced by Gautham Menon. It was after Vepppam, that she moved towards Tamil film industry and got recognition too. Her Tamil movie ‘’Kazhugu’’ was a mega hit and its success pushed herself into many Chartbuster movie lists such as ‘’Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga’’. 

Her latest flick will be ‘’Savaale Samaali’’, where she will be seen playing a sub-inspector role. We also hear that she wants to get back to her studies again doing her master degree in bio-technology and might even bid bye from the industry. What will happen, time alone can tell us. But her professional attitude in the film industry and her willingness to accept many challenging roles has even surprised many actresses, whom she had left behind. Undoubtedly, she is the new golden girl in Tollywood.

Baby Vaishnavi is a female child actor who acts in Tamil and Telugu movies. She acted as a child actor in 'Pasanga 2' in a lead role of Naina alongside Karthik Kumar, Vidya Pradeep, and Bindu Madhavi. It was her debut film.

Baby Tejaswini is a female child actor in Kollywood. She made her debut with the movie 'Pasanga-2' which was produced by actor Suriya and Pandiraj. This film was a sequel to the movie Pasanga (2009) and the child actors Nishesh and Vaishnavi debuted through the sequel of the movie and was in the lead roles.

Vidya Pradeep completed her M.Tech. Her love of research lured her to pursue her education one step further. Now she is in her final year of Ph.D.

P Madan is an Indian film producer, who established the production banner, Escape Artists Motion Pictures. In 2010, he was debuted as a producer in Gautham Vasudev Menon’s musical romantic drama film, Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa. The following year, he has produced the critically acclaimed Tamil mystery dramedy film, Azhagarsamiyin Kudhirai, which was screened at the 2011 Toronto International film Festival and bagged a National Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment. Though this film was a hit, P Madan considered his next film, Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga (2013), as his major breakthrough and a turning point in his film career.

Suriya Sivakumar is undoubtedly the biggest star in contemporary Tamil film yet most critics would agree that he is truly a ‘real and spontaneous’ actor who can match any character that he plays in screen. His rise in Kollywood cinema came at a time when commercial Tamil films tended to shy away from the dark themes and ambivalent morality associated with film and style. The popularity of Ghajini proved that the level of negativity that the audiences could bear. When A.R Murugadoss selected Suriya to don the role in Ghajini, he knew how it would work with mainstream audiences and was almost right. Truly, this actor had overcome his father’s shadow and moved to be one of the most talented actor, whose films got inspired by even Aamir Khan and even Ajay Devgan. Aamir Khan had showered him praise for his performance in Ghajini and wanted to re-make the same film in Hindi. The question remains still, when Aamir had over-acted in the Hindi version, Suriya had just down played the character suitably. Although Suriya was never seen in any Hindi film (except Ram Gopal Varma’s Rakht Charitra), Suriya’s name became quite popular even in Hindi belt, just because Aamir Khan was doing the Hindi version of Ghajini. Similarly, when Singham was remade for Hindi belt audiences, even Ajay Devgan got inspired to play the police role by just watching how Suriya did the same role. Suriya’s filmography shows that he avoided being typecast and yet proved that his fans would find his films “ an out and out” Suriya’s show. Suriya has made his own identity and was crowned with ‘ dashing star’ tag. The screen name Suriya was given to him by Mani Ratnam. Earlier, this actor had always tried to shy away from camera and never even dreamt to be an actor. In the beginning of his career, one could see him doing some supporting actor role with Vikram and Vijay, but he could steal the show under their nose even. Take the example of his role in Bala's Pithamagan, along with Vikram or even in Mani Ratnam's political drama Aayutha Ezhuthu along with Madhavan and Siddharth, Suriya’s best career time was when Perazhagan got released and his fans and critics applauded him for playing the first dual role in screen. May be after seeing this film, Murugadoss selected him to play the role of a patient who suffered from short-term memory loss and Suriya Sivakumar played his first role (Ghajini) of angry young man who had a rife with corruption and who was blocked off any avenues for justice. Indian cinema had seen earlier only Amitabh Bachchan and perhaps Sunil Dutt (Mother India) playing such anti-hero character so suitably. In 2006, he also had starred with his wife Jyothika( not married then) in N Krishna’ s film ‘Sillunu Oru Kaadhal', where again Suriya had done a fantastic job, He also played dual roles in ‘’Vaaranam Aayiram’’, ‘’Vel’’ ‘’Perazhagan", ", "Maatran" and "7 am Arivu’’, and "Anjaan". He is a few actors in Kollywood whose married life with actress Jyothika, remained untouched with rumour. Their love story too happened slowly when “Kaakha Kaakha” happened, and now they are married and have two kids.

Madhan Karky Vairamuthu was born on March 10, 1980. He lives in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. He completed his education from College of Engineering, Guindy and University of Queensland. He is an Indian lyricist, software engineer, a professor, research associate, and a film dialogue writer. His parents are Vairamuthu and Ponmani; his father is a poet and a lyricist.

Na. Muthukumar is a poet, lyricist, writer and novelist, who writes in Tamil. He is famous for writing scripts and songs for Tamil films. Na. Muthukumar was born on 12 July 1975 in a small village named ‘Tirur’ near Kanchipuram in Tamil Nadu. His Father, Mr Nagaraj was a Tamil teacher.Mr Nagaraj always maintained a collection of 5000 books throughout his life, and after he had passed away, this collection was preserved by his son in his office. Also, his mother passed away when he was merely four years old. Muthukumar reminisces that he acquired most of the knowledge of his life from his father’s book collection. Also, to help others he has plans to open a library where everybody could access those books. Na. Muthukumar began his career with a dream to be a director. So, he started working under director Balu Mahendra for about four years as assistant director. But due to turn of events, he landed into being a lyricist. He began with writing the lyrics for the Tamil movie ‘Veera Nadai’ which was directed by Seeman.

Yugabharathi is an Indian lyricist and poet. He specializes in writing Tamil poems and Tamil songs. He was born in the Thanjavur district of Tamil Nadu. Yugabharathi’s real name is Prem Kumar, but he changed it to Yugabharathi as it was his pen name for his poems. Yugabharathi completed his Matriculation from Maxwell Matriculation Higher Secondary School. He also has a Diploma in Engineering from Government Polytechnic College. He started his career as a poet in early 90’s and wrote poems for various Tamil magazines. He changed his name to Yugabharathi to honor his idol Subramanya Bharathi. He started his career as a lyricist with the movie Aanandham. He wrote lyrics for Pallankuzhiyin in the movie. After that, he wrote lyrics for many songs. His first work as a successful lyricist came out in the year 2002 in the movie Run. He wrote the song Kadhal Pisase, which became a huge hit. In 2003, he wrote songs for the movie Vasiya Kaari and Manmadha Raasa. In the year 2004, he went back to writing poems for magazines.

M.Prabhaharan is an Art Director. He was born on 6th July 1966 at Dindigul in Theni, Tamil Nadu. In a career spanning over three decades, he has worked in more than seventy-five films in the Tamil film industry and a few in Hindi, English and other regional languages. Some of the movies for which he won an award are "Pullakuttikaran", "Sundara Purusha", "Anbe Sivam" and a few more. Prabhaharan hails from Kuchanur, a small village near Dindigul. He completed his school education in Theni itself. He commenced his high school at Dindigul St. Mary’s School and completed it at Theni Nadar Saraswathi Boys’ Higher Secondary School.

Imman Annachi is one of the most popular television anchors in the history of Tamil Television. He is also a well-known actor and comedian and is best known for his sense of humor. He gained popularity through popular television shows such as 'Kutty Chutties' and 'Sollunganne Sollunga'. He was born as Immanuel in the city of Thiruvaluthinadar Vilai in the district of Thoothukudi in Eral in the state of Tamil Nadu. Soori is a South Indian actor in Kollywood. His nickname is “Parotta Soori’ which has been derived from his Tamil movie that he had acted. In 2009, he acted in a film ‘Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu’(2009) where a scene was shot with a crew of actors, who sit together and eat Parotta by keeping a challenge who eats more Parotta’s. In this scene, Parotta Soori performed his best, so people coined his name as Parotta Soori. Basically, he appeared as a comedian in many Tamil movies. Today, this dusky lad with the moustache look has placed him in line with other comedians like Vadivelu, Santhanam and Goundamani. He is in peak of his career today playing comedian roles and doing a number of movies with the lead actors. With his popularity reaching a new height, the actor even now demands to play a lead role in some movies. Although these movies are not yet been officially announced, we can hear the announcement very soon. He has rejected some new movies that came in his hand and want now a scripted-backing role for his comedy touch. It is believed that a film in which he would play a lead actor, a need for new heroine is all the way. This actor was born on August 27, 1977 in Madurai. When he was new in the industry, he shared the screen as one of the junior artistes and did side acting only. K E Gnanavel Raja popularly known as Gnanavel is a multi talented personality in Tamil film industry. Gnanavel Raja is the son of Kousalya and V K Eswaran. He was born and brought up in Chennai. He got his introduction into the world of movies through his exposure during the college days. He is the uncle of the famous  and acclaimed Tamil actors Suriya and Karthi.

Nishesh is an upcoming child actor in Tamil cinema. He got his first break in a film “Pasanga 2” which was directed by Pandiraj. The film was produced by actor Suriya and Pandiraj and was made at a moderate budget of Rs 5 crores but grossed a net of Rs 50 crores worldwide. Hence, the film was a successful launch pad for the child actor Nishesh (Nishesh Abilash). He played the role of Kavin in the film and enlightened the viewers. It is said before zeroing on the actor Nishesh, director Pandiraj was searching for a new child face to play the role of Kavin for 'eight' months. Even actor-cum-filmmaker Suriya went through 50 scripts before approving the project as he felt this children film would have a social message to deliver.

Aarush is a child actor in Tamil cinema. In this film, Aarush acted in the role of Abhiman. It is known that the director had to screen audition for nearly eight months to search the child actor who would play the protagonist in the movie.

K L Praveen whose full name is Kuchipudi Latha Praveen is a famous Indian film editor who has worked with many notable directors. Praveen mainly works in the Kollywood industry and has showcased his editing skills in many popular movies and has received accolades for the same. The Andhra Pradesh born editor wanted to pursue a degree in Bio-Technology when he was 17 but unfortunately the number of seats was already full for the course. He had an entire year on his hand and didn't wish to waste that time without doing anything productive. As a result, he started learning to edit in some studios. Most of his family members including his father used to work in the movie industry, but he had a lack of interest to work there.

K.T. Balasubramaniem is an Indian cinematographer. He works predominantly in the South Indian film industry. He was born on 18th August 1966 and comes from the beautiful place of Southern India called Karaikudi situated in Tamil Nadu. He has completed his education from Thirupattur. He was with P.C. Sreeram as an assistant for a very long time. He learned all aspect of cinematography and finished his skills under him. Working with P.C. Sreeram got him opportunities to work for the acclaimed movies like Kuruthipunal and Thevar Magan.

Munishkanth’s Original name is Ramdoss. He has worked as a Goldsmith for two years. With aspiration of entering into the film industry, Ramdoss came to Chennai in the year 2002. He has worked as a junior artist in many film projects. His first movie was Ethan which released in the year 2011. In the year 2013, Munishkanth got a chance to play a role Masilamani in the feature film Kadal directed by Mani Ratnam.
