Anisha Singh is a South Indian actress, who became popular after joining the reality television show, Truth Love Cash on Channel V in 2010. After joining the reality show, she auditioned for some advertisements and television serials, until she bags a role in the Telugu film, Ayyare in 2012, which stars Rajendra Prasad, Sivaji and Sai Kumar.

Nancy Jennifer was born on 23rd April 1990. She made her debut as a child artist in Kollywood and had been credited as Baby Jennifer. Jennifer made her debut in Kizhakku Karai in 1991 with “Prabhu” and “Khushboo,” when she was just one year old. Her second movie Idhuthanda Sattam, which came in the very next year of her debut. The film featured Sarathkumar and Actress Rekha. Jennifer turned out to be popular after playing as the niece to Suriya Sivakumar and “Vijay” in Nerrukku Ner, which released in 1997.

S R Prakash Babu started his career as a producer with Studio Green, which also had Gnanavel Raja and “S R Prabhu.” He produced various films, among which Singam tasted a great success.  Prakash Babu is the nephew of veteran Tamil actor “Sivakumar.” Suriya Sivakumar and Karthik Sivakumar are his cousins. Most of his films are with Suriya and Karthi. In 2010, S R Prakash Babu teamed up with his brother S R Prabhu to lay down the foundation of Dream Warrior Pictures, a production company based in Chennai. This company deals with film production as well as film distribution. Dream Warrior Pictures had produced eight films of different genres. “Saguni” starring Karthi and Pranitha Subhash was the first project of Dream Warrior Pictures. “Kaashmora,” the movie starring “Nayantara” and Karthi is a horror-comedy movie with huge video effects.

He is a multitalented writer belonging to the Southern India. He had given a new word to the English language ‘Lifotainment’ which means the entertainment through short stories or novels. He firmly believes that anything that is written should either influence oneself or the others in the society. K Kathir is an Indian Art Director. He worked in the Tamil Film Industry. He started his professional career with the film Bangalore Naatakal (2016) by Bhaskar. The film is a remake of Superhit Malayalam film Bangalore Days (2014). The film Bangalore Naatakal revolves around three cousins Arjun, Kannan, and Divya. They move to Bangalore for various reasons. After moving to Bangalore, their lives transform in a specific way. The film has Arya, Sri Divya, Rana Daggubati, Parvathy Thiruvothu, and Bobby Simha in the lead roles. Kathir later worked in the Tamil film Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru (2017) by H. Vinoth. The film revolves around a cop who investigates a serious case of the ruthless highway robbers who rob houses and kill every person in the house.

Leo John Paul is a film technician in the field of editing and has over a decade of experience. This film editor of Tamil Film industry has earlier been associated with the making of the “Kolaveri-D song” as a video editor. Since then he has never looked back and has grabbed the attention of cinemagoers of editing many Kollywood movies one after another. Now, he is an independent film editor and has worked in every CV Kumar’s film productions till date.

Johnson is a PRO, a Public Relations Officer in the Tamil industry. He has handled the PR of various Tamil movies. Johnson is from Nagercoil, a city in Tamil Nadu. His mother is Johannal, and his father, KGA John, is an ex-naval officer. He has six siblings. He married to H.J. Mano in 1994. Johnson always dreamt of being a filmmaker. He aspired to assist the Indian actor R. Parthiban. He left his city, Nagercoil, and moved to Chennai to fulfill his dream. He met the editor of the magazine Kungumam, Paavai Chandran. Paavai brought him into the world of magazines. There, he started to write snippets about Tamil films. The films he wrote about were handled by Nellai Sundarjan as a PRO.

The secret recipe to make any action movie memorable is having proper action directors to make fight sequences. Action choreography, much like dancing, is art and if not handled correctly, it could lead to the action being choppy, unstructured, unrealistic, and plain tedious to watch. However, if done correctly, It could lead to a surge of emotions from the audience towards the protagonist of the movie and can instill a sense of heroism in them. One such director who makes amazing action sequence is, Anbariv. The Kollywood industry, as we all know, is rich in action; placing a lot of emphasis on fighting scenes.. Ashok Selvan is primarily a film actor, who has played major lead roles in Tamil movies like Soodhu Kavvum (2013), Pizza 2 : The Villa and ‘Thegidi’ (2014). A native of Tamil Nadu, Ashok was born on 8 November 1989 in Erode. He graduated in visual communication from Loyola College and gained a lot of movie making experience during his college days. Since his early years, he was immensely attracted to the entertainment world. After getting a degree in the visual communication, he decided to make a foray into the world of entertainment.

Bala Saravanan is an Indian Tamil cinema actor. He has appeared mostly in films with Tamil languages. He made his debut with Kalli Kaatu Pallikoodam; a school drama serial aired on Vijay Tv. He came into notice with another serial that was a college drama, Kana Kaanum Kaalangal Kalloriyin Kadhai, which too was aired on Vijay Tv. 

John Vijay was born in 1976. John is a Tamil film actor, who has contributed on playing many brace roles. He has mostly attempted the role as a comedian and villain in Tamil films. John did his Master of Science in Visual Communication from Loyola College.

'Sanjay Bharathi' is an actor currently working in the Tamil Film Industry. His father is the well-known Tamil film director and actor ‘Santhana Bharathi’. Sanjay made his debut in the year 2012 in the film “Naanga” as Chandran. Since then, he has gone on to appear in four other movies and is currently in the process of filming a movie that is slated for a release later this year.

Nivas K Prasanna is a Tamil Singer and a Film Composer. He debuted as a singer in the year 2014 with the movie Thegidi. He is well known for his performance as a singer in the movie Sethupathi. Prasanna was born in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu. He was raised in Chennai. He did his secondary education at a small school in the nearby town. He started learning music at a very early age. He started learning Carnatic music when he was ten years old. After learning many musical instruments, Prasanna moved to Chennai with his family.

Haricharan Seshadri is an eminent Carnatic singer who gives his vocal in many Malayalam, Tamil, and other regional movies. He made his debut through the Tamil flick ‘Kadal’, in which he got the chance to sing two solo songs "Unakkena Iruppaen" and the title song "Kaadhal". In the same movie, he also had sung a duet song ‘Thottu Thottu’ with Harini Shankar. 
 

Sathya Prakash is a popular south Indian villain actor, who hailed from Odisha. His father was a government staff and Sathya got a place in the government school and he completed his schooling. Sambalpur, Burgad and Burhampur are the places, where Sathya completed his graduation and post graduation. Sathya did his MBA in Kolkata. He was a bank employee for a few years.

Praveen Raja, born on May 5, 1992, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, is an actor and costume designer who predominantly works in the Tamil film and television industry. He starred in the movies Chennai Palani Mars (2019), an adventure comedy-drama directed by Biju Viswanath, starring Rajesh Giriprasad Anbirkiniyal (2021), a thriller drama directed by Gokul, starring Keerthi Pandian and Sila Nerangalil Sila Manidhargal (2022), directed by Vishal Venkat, starring Ashok Selvan. Joining the ranks of Malayalaee born actors who have chosen Tamil filmdom was Jamshed Cethirakath. He even changed his name as per the prevailing custom, to ‘Arya’, encouraged his brother Sathya to follow suit, and made him join Tamil cinema too. However, earlier in life when selecting a course of studies he may not have been very clear about the future course of his life, making him choose an engineering course in Computer Science in Chennai, rather than selecting any of the other options in Chennai relating to the performing arts. As he grew up, his family’s links with Chennai grew stronger, and his father currently owns one of the favourite Arabian food joints in the upmarket Anna Nagar locality of Chennai.

Arya’s route to films was however, through a brief stint in modeling, after which he made his debut appearance in the 2005 college romance “Ullam Ketkumae” starring with two other now famous newcomers Asin and Pooja. However, the second film in which Arya had acted,“Arinthum Ariyamalum”, got released earlier in the same year and fortunately for him this film ended up as a super hit, with Arya’s portrayal as the rogue son of a notorious don receiving kudos from all sections. For this portrayal he won the twin Filmfare Awards for Best Debut South, as well as the Best New Male Face. He went on to receive further appreciation and acclaim for his portrayal in the unusual role of an Aghori (person from an ascetic sect) in the 2009 film “Naan Kadavul”. The year 2010 brought him commercial success for the period film “Madrasapattinam” and the romantic comedy film “Boss Engira Bhaskaran” (2010), also establishing his versatility as an actor. That year also was his debut in Telugu films, playing the antagonist in “Varudu” living up to his image as the tough guy.

Arya's first release in the following year was an appearance in the Malayalam film “Urumi”, which was basically a fantasy of sorts, against a historical backdrop. Although his role in the film was not an extended one, he did manage to play two separate characters. In between, Arya had also formed his own production house Show People and his latest release in August 2015 saw him in his own production “Vasuvum Saravananum Onna Padichavanga” having the same people who made the earlier hit “Boss Engira Bhaskaran” which incidentally was also the first production of Show People.

Today Arya has established himself quite successfully in the top rungs of the current crop of younger South Indian heroes and made a niche for himself through sheer hard work and dedication, even going to the extent of taking a crash course on Aghori Yoga for the film “Naan Kadavul”.

Lingusamy is the well known Indian film director, who is popular for his family scripts. He was born on November 14, 1967. Lakshmipuram in Tamilnadu is Lingusamy’s native. He worked as the assistant to “A Venkatesh” and “Vikraman.” His career as a director started in the year 2001, through the “Mammootty” starrer, “Anandham.” His first movie got him the Best Film Award at Filmfare by Cinema Express. He got consecutive success through “R Madhavan” starrer, “Run” and Vishal Reddy flick “Sandakozhi.” Lingusamy also owns a production house along with his brother Subash Chandra Bose, called, “Thirrupathi Brothers.” He has produced nearly 16 films with his production house. “Deepavali” was the first movie under his production banner. He scripted and directed “Bheema” in 2008. The movie showed the action face of Chiyaan Vikram and won the acclaim as a good action movie in his career. In 2010, he scripted, directed and produced, “Paiyaa,” the Karthik Sivakumar and Tamannaah movie, which earned him positive criticism.

Prakash Raj, born on 26th of March, 1965, as Prakash Rai, in Bangalore, is an actor, director, and producer. He is also a television presenter and has worked in films of many languages. He is best known for his work in the film industry of South India, and for playing roles of a villain in quite a few Bollywood films. He hails from a Tulu and Kannada-speaking household and is fluent in various other languages such as Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, and Telugu. He also has an actor brother named Prasad Raj. He studied at St. Joseph’s Boy’s School, and subsequently, at St. Joseph’s College of Commerce. Both institutions are in Bangalore. Prakash has three children, Meghana, Pooja, and Sidhu, from his earlier marriage to the actress Lalitha Kumari. His son, unfortunately, passed away in the year 2004. He is currently married to the choreographer Pony Verma. In the first few years of his career, he worked in Kannada Doordarshan, doing serials like Guddada Bhootha, and he also acted in supporting roles in Kannada movies like Nishkarsha.

RJ Balaji is the famous name of Balaji Patturaj. He was born on the 20th in the month of June in 1985. He is a famous Indian Radio jockey, comedian, actor based in Tamil Nadu. From his childhood, he was brought up in Chennai.

Sivakumar (born Palanichamy) is one of the most versatile actors of current Tamil cinema. He has the pride of acting in various characters, both lead and supporting for a period spanning over four decades. A perfect teetotaller and a vegetarian, Sivakumar debuted in 1965 in the SS.Rajedran starrer ‘KaakumKarangal’ by production giants AVM. He now lives in Chennai with his wife and sons 'Suriya Sivakumar' and 'Karthik Sivakumar' who are actors as well.

Though being introduced as a supporting actor, Sivakumar was able to grasp the skills of acting quite easily. His dedication to acting is well known from his notable movies like ‘KandanKarunai’ and ‘ThunivaeThozhan’. He has more classic movies to his tally that include ‘RosapooRavikkaikaari’ , and the very famous K.Balachander’s ‘SindhuBhairavi’. He played the role of a carnatic musician who gets tangled between two women. The film went on to win 3 National awards and also made Sivakumar showcase his skills.

Sivakumar, who acted only in Tamil in over 200 films, is a recipient of 5 important awards. He won Filmfare awards for the best actor for the movies ‘RosapooRavikkaikari’ and ‘Vandi Chakkaram’ and a lifetime achievement award(2007). He also was the recipient of the Tamil Nadu state awards for the movies ‘AvalAdhuAvanAdhu’ and ‘Agni Sakshi’. He also hold a unique record of acting with at least three generations of actors, right from the era of SivajiGanesan and MGR to Kamal Hassan and Rajnikanth to Ajith and Vijay, which is a rare feat still yet to be achieved by many old actors. He acted in famous TV serials like Chithi and Annamalai alongside RadhikaSarathkumar.

Sivakumar now has ventured into public speaking. He is an excellent orator known for his valuable pearls of wisdom. He awes people by his wide spread knowledge and the way he propagates it through stories and excerpts. One of his very famous quips include “Ithuvumkadanthupogum” (meaning ‘This too shall pass’).

Suriya Sivakumar is undoubtedly the biggest star in contemporary Tamil film yet most critics would agree that he is truly a ‘real and spontaneous’ actor who can match any character that he plays in screen. His rise in Kollywood cinema came at a time when commercial Tamil films tended to shy away from the dark themes and ambivalent morality associated with film and style. The popularity of Ghajini proved that the level of negativity that the audiences could bear. When A.R Murugadoss selected Suriya to don the role in Ghajini, he knew how it would work with mainstream audiences and was almost right. Truly, this actor had overcome his father’s shadow and moved to be one of the most talented actor, whose films got inspired by even Aamir Khan and even Ajay Devgan. Aamir Khan had showered him praise for his performance in Ghajini and wanted to re-make the same film in Hindi. The question remains still, when Aamir had over-acted in the Hindi version, Suriya had just down played the character suitably. Although Suriya was never seen in any Hindi film (except Ram Gopal Varma’s Rakht Charitra), Suriya’s name became quite popular even in Hindi belt, just because Aamir Khan was doing the Hindi version of Ghajini. Similarly, when Singham was remade for Hindi belt audiences, even Ajay Devgan got inspired to play the police role by just watching how Suriya did the same role. Suriya’s filmography shows that he avoided being typecast and yet proved that his fans would find his films “ an out and out” Suriya’s show. Suriya has made his own identity and was crowned with ‘ dashing star’ tag. The screen name Suriya was given to him by Mani Ratnam. Earlier, this actor had always tried to shy away from camera and never even dreamt to be an actor. In the beginning of his career, one could see him doing some supporting actor role with Vikram and Vijay, but he could steal the show under their nose even. Take the example of his role in Bala's Pithamagan, along with Vikram or even in Mani Ratnam's political drama Aayutha Ezhuthu along with Madhavan and Siddharth, Suriya’s best career time was when Perazhagan got released and his fans and critics applauded him for playing the first dual role in screen. May be after seeing this film, Murugadoss selected him to play the role of a patient who suffered from short-term memory loss and Suriya Sivakumar played his first role (Ghajini) of angry young man who had a rife with corruption and who was blocked off any avenues for justice. Indian cinema had seen earlier only Amitabh Bachchan and perhaps Sunil Dutt (Mother India) playing such anti-hero character so suitably. In 2006, he also had starred with his wife Jyothika( not married then) in N Krishna’ s film ‘Sillunu Oru Kaadhal', where again Suriya had done a fantastic job, He also played dual roles in ‘’Vaaranam Aayiram’’, ‘’Vel’’ ‘’Perazhagan", ", "Maatran" and "7 am Arivu’’, and "Anjaan". He is a few actors in Kollywood whose married life with actress Jyothika, remained untouched with rumour. Their love story too happened slowly when “Kaakha Kaakha” happened, and now they are married and have two kids.

Vijaya Gurunatha Sethupathi was not born with silver spoon. Neither did he have a family background that had deep roots in cinema field. He was rejected even for the role of a junior artist. But it was his hard work and continuous struggle, that made him a star that he is today.

Born on 17th July, 1984, in Vellore, the 31-year-old started his career as a cricketer, and after that, he became a part of the film industry for the past 7 years. Vishal made his debut in 2009 through “Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu”, and won the Edison Awards for Best Debut Actor. 

G. Marimuthu is a very well known Indian Film director as well as an actor. He has mostly directed Tamil Films. He made his entrance film in the year 2008, which is KannumKannum. He also enacted in a movie, Pulivaal in the year 2014.
