Plot

Shakti is a traffic police. Although his job is related to handling the traffic, he is much interested in dealing with criminal cases. Once, he finds out the skeletal remains of three people under the metro railway bridge. The crime is suspected to have happened 4 decades back. Shakti requests the concerned department to include in the case, as the crime happened in the area that is under his control. But, the inspector denies it. So, Shakti risks his position and involves in the case indirectly and starts searching the evidence of the crime. He gets shocking information regarding the case. Who are those three? How did they die? The answers form the rest of the story.

Star Performance

Sibi fits in the role well. He has done a good job. People expect something more from Sibi. Nassar and Nandita Swetha are perfect in the given roles. Jayaprakash’s performance helps the story to move towards an interesting point. Sampath Maitreya’s performance is not much impressive.

Analysis

Pradeep has penned an interesting screenplay and strengthened the plot. He has done justice to the original and also brought some interesting performances. Sibi is the right choice. But, the audience feels that something is missing in Sibi’s performance. However, he didn’t let us down with his performance. There are some logical loopholes that should have been avoided. Simon’s BGM is superb and the cinematography by Rasamathi is noteworthy.

Kabadadaari is a good film that has come without any songs that spoil the story’s flow. For the neat story, performance and direction, we can watch this film!
