Sadhana Sargam is a playback singer of Indian cinema who predominantly now sings in South Indian and Bengali films. She debuted in Bollywood as a singer and has done playback singing in many Hindi films. She had initial training under her mother Neela Ghanekar, who was a classical singer too. Born as Sadhana Ghanekar in Mumbai on March 7, 1974, she changed her name to Sadhana Sargam on advice given by Kalyanji Anandji, who had promoted her singing career. 

Shreya Ghoshal, one of the most famous singers in Bollywood today, was born on March 12th, 1984, in Berhampore, West Bengal. Her father Biswajit Ghoshal is an electrical engineer and mother Sharmistha Ghoshal is a postgraduate in literature. She started singing since the age of 4 when her mother taught her. She started her formal training in Hindustani classical Gharana of music when she was only six years old. A versatile singer, Tanvi Shah is a playback singer who has sung songs in languages like Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Portuguese, Arabic, and Latin. She made her debut in playback singing with the song 'Fanaa' for the movie Yuva, which released in 2004. Ever since then, she has had a collaboration with the Oscar-winning singer A.R Rahman, and she has sung several songs for him. Amit Trivedi, Yuvan Shankar Raja and other leading music directors invited Tanvi after her success with A.R Rahman reached the public eye. She wrote the Spanish lyrics for the ever popular song of Slumdog Millionaire - Jai Ho. Sujatha Rangarajan is an author, screenwriter, novelist, and engineer born on 3rd May, 1935, and passed out on 27th February, 2008. His birthplace is Srirangam (British India) and he died in Chennai. His evergreen works are ten stage performances, more than 250 short stories along with composing works of almost a hundred novels, and a small set of poems. He was considered as a famous personality in Tamil literature. He has fame as a pleasant reader and he briefly edited and worked for Kumudam magazine. He composed a few screenplays and narrated dialogues for Tamil movies.

Randy Rathnavelu is a cinematographer who was born on 24th February 1971 in Chennai, India and is actively working in the Tollywood industry since 1997. He is a well known cinematographer in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada films. He has also been critically acclaimed for his works in certain movies.

P Vijay (Pa Vijay) is a Tamil poet and film lyricist, who wrote the award-winning lyrics for the song’’ Ovvoru Pookalume’’ in Cheran's Autograph in Kollywood film industry. This lyricist had an extensive impact on Tamil cinema and was considered to be a gem writer of many songs that had featured in many movies. This poet and lyricist-writer were born in a middle-class family where his mother was a school teacher, and his father worked as a spinning master in a textile mill in Coimbatore. The actor was born in Coimbatore on 20 October 1974 and did his MA Literature in Tamil from Annamalai University. This poet was a discovery of director K Bhagyaraj, who was his family friend. He was associated with K. Bhagyaraj in the magazine ‘Bhagya’ and even got a chance to pen his lyrics for the film Gnanapazham, which had music by K. Bhagyaraj himself. But it was in 2004 when the film ‘Autograph’ was released, his song ’Ovvoru Pookalume"’ became an instant hit. Vairamuthu is a very famous Tamil writer, poet, and lyricist. His full name is Vairamuthu Ramasamy. He was born on 13th July 1953. He was born in a middle-class family to Ramasamythevar and Angammal in Mettur. His family moved to Vadugapatti, Theni in Tamil Nadu when he was four years old. He is famous by the pen name Kaviyarasu or Kaviperarasu. He got married to Ponmani Vairamuthu and had two children, Madhan Karky Vairamuthu, and Kabilan Vairamuthu. He got inspiration from the Tamil and Rationalist movements in the 1960s that enthused him to pursue a career as a writer. He graduated from Pachaiyappa's College in Chennai. As a speaker and a poet, he was highly praised as the best in his college.

Kaz Boyle is an American music composer, music conductor, an orchestra and a music arranger also. He was born on 27th September 1976 in Oak Park Illinois in Chicago, USA. The full name of Kaz is Kazimir Boyle now living in Los Angeles, California. This legend is also a composer of video games and concert music. He composes for both the Film world and the Television world as well. He has created music for more than 15 movies and 12 Television shows. As a music arranger, he has arranged music concerts in more than 20 cities of different countries. As a composer, he has also worked for an American studio, Media Ventures. Hariharan is a renowned Indian singer, who sings mainly for Hindi and Tamil films. Born in 1955, he is a well-known Ghazal singer. He was also instrumental in bringing fusion music to India.

Arun Rama Varma is an Indian sound effects editor who works primarily in the Tamil film industry. Arun was born in Trippunithura and completed his schooling from Chinmaya Vidyalaya from his hometown itself. He then studied in Film and Television Institute of India in Pune and further did the Bachelor of Science in Electronics from the College of Applied Sciences in Puthuppally. Mostly known for his predominant involvement in Hollywood movies and TV shows, this veteran professional has been working in the film industry for more than thirty years now.

Kunal Rajan is a sound designer who has worked with a few Hollywood projects and two south Indian movies like ' Uttama Villain' and 'Vishwaroopam.’ Rajan when he was just starting work on  Tamil musical drama 'Uttama Villain,’ had asked Oscar-winning sound mixer, Craig Mann, if he was interested to be part of an India movie. Jayesh Pradhan Pradhan is an Indian choreographer and director. He is mainly working with the Bollywood Film industry. He has the Indian Nationality. The talented stunts-man got trained in Aikido, Kick Boxing, Jeet Kune Do, Gymnastics, and Sand. He won the second position in France National Gymnastics Championship in the year 1997. He always had an interest in the sports field and later, he realized his dream of working in the movies. He founded Jumperz Parkour after rigorously practicing Parkour from 2003. He trained under the professionals from the Yamakasi group who are one of the best in the art form. Yannick is a parkour tutor and an actor too. Shah Rukh Khan or also known as SRK is a prominent Indian film actor, television personality and producer. He was born on November 2, 1965 in New Delhi, India. He is often called as the ‘Baadshah of Bollywood’, ‘King Khan’ and ‘King of Bollywood’. The actor has done more than 80 films in Bollywood. He was cited as ‘The World’s Biggest Movie Star’ by the Los Angeles Times. Khan is also one of the wealthiest actors in the world, with over $400–600 million net worth. He also won several accolades including the 14 Filmfare Awards.

Khan went to St. Columba’s School in Delhi where he topped in studies and sports like football and hockey, where he got the Sword of Honour Award, a school’s highest award. He acted in several stage plays and gained praises for mimicking Bollywood actors like Amitabh Bachchan and Mumtaz. He studied at Hansraj College from 1985 to 1988 to get a degree in Economics but the actor spent much of his time in attending the Theatre Action Group (TAG) in Delhi. He studies acting through his mentor, Director Barry John. Later, Khan studied at Jamia Millia Islamia and took up a degree in Mass Communications, but he left it to enter the showbiz industry. For Danny Denzongpa the voyage to the glittering world of films from distant Gangtok in Sikkim, where he was born and had his preliminary education, was quite eventful. In fact his entry into a film career was in many ways a matter of unexpected coincidence. Finishing college from Darjeeling, West Bengal, he made it to the prestigious Armed Forces Medical College in Pune, for he had always dreamed, like many from his region, to join the Indian Army. This desire was perhaps fuelled by his bagging the Best Cadet Award from West Bengal, and in being selected for the annual Republic Day parade in New Delhi. However, once in Pune, he switched over to the Film Institute instead of the Armed Forces College. That is when Tshering Phintso Denzongpa of Gangtok became the future “Danny” Denzongpa of the Mumbai film world. He had decided to change his name to a simpler sounding "Danny" as he realized that his original name would have been difficult to be pronounced once he entered films. 

Danny’s film career due to its sheer length of 44 years and 200 plus films cannot be accommodated in a brief profile of his, but the high points of his career and sheer variety of his roles can be discussed, as well as the vicissitudes of his career. Although he had to manage with B-grade movies on his entry in 1971, just 2 years into his career, he drew attention for the role of crippled husband, emoting his frustrations, in “Dhundh” During the entire 70s he displayed his versatility, making a clear mark for himself in the industry. In fact, he portrayed as much of positive roles as he did villainous ones, narrowly missing the role of Gabbar Singh in “Sholay” due to a mix up of shooting dates. In 1978 a major landmark came in his career for his role in “Devata” (1978) which saw him get substantial roles after that including big budget ones. However, in the beginning of the 1980s he suddenly lost interest in films, being type cast in villainous roles with the same setting over and over again. 

This spell was broken briefly when he directed the Rajesh Khanna starrer “Phir Wohi Raat” for N.N. Sippy in 1980, but although he went on getting any number of roles he wanted, most of them were not to his liking, as they seemed to be carbon copies of similar roles he had done previously. In between, however, there was something more satisfying for him when he made an international appearance in “Seven Years in Tibet”, co-starring with the redoubtable Brad Pitt. Danny, however, reduced his appearances at the turn of the century and between 2003 and 2009 starred in only 10 movies, with very few appearances thereafter. Any profile of Danny would be incomplete without the mention that he was not only an accomplished singer for Nepali songs, but has sung alongside Lata, Asha and Mohd Rafi in Hindi films too.

Delhi Kumar is a veteran Tamil television and film actor. He is also a known stage actor and a senior drama artist. He is married to Gayathri, and they have a son named, Arvind Swamy, who was adopted by the Indian Philanthropist, V. D. Swami. He is basically from a theater group based in Delhi and also one of the members of the Delhi Drama Troupe in Nanganallur in Madras, India together with the veteran film actor, Delhi Ganesh. Although Delhi Kumar is widely known for his roles in television and films, he was just like the other veterans who started off as a stage artist and playwright.

Kalabhavan Mani is a renowned Indian playback singer, music director and film actor. He was born as Mani Raman on January 1, 1971, in Chalakudy, Kerala in India. Initially, he worked as a mimicry artist in Kochi before he started his acting career in the Malayalam film, Aksharam in 1995 as an Auto Rickshaw driver. 

Karunas is a popular comedian, musician, and producer and Tamil actor. He was born as Karunanidhi Sethu on February 21, 1970, in Peravurani, Thanjavur in Tamil Nadu, India. He studied at Palangudi Bharati School and moved to Nandaman Arts, Presidency College later on. Karunas started his career as a dancer and pop singer who worked in the Tamil folk music.

Dinesh Kumar is a popular choreographer in the Tamil Film Industry who is active in the field from the year 2001 to till day (as of 2016).He has choreographed for more than 138 films in this period. Dinesh had his schooling in Nandanam Arts College in Chennai. He was initially in the team of the Famous Dance brothers Prabhu Deva, Raju Sundaram and Nagendra Prasad. He won the Best Dance Choreographer award from “Filmfare Awards South” in the year 2009 for the Tamil Movie “Ayan” to his work in the song “Pala Palakkura Pagala Nee...” which was a big hit in that year. He won the Best Choreographer award from “Vijay Awards” in the year 2007 for his choreography in the hit song “ Vasantha Mullai Poley vandhu...” in the Tamil Movie “Pokiri” starring the Famous Actor “Vijay” and directed by Prabhu Deva.

A. R. Rahman is a Legendary Music Composer, prominently known for his rocking music for the movie “The Slumdog Millionaire”. He had won a couple of Oscars for this album and made India proud.  Allah-Rakha Rahman’s birth name is A.S.Dileep Kumar. He was born on January 6th, 1967 in Chennai. His music journey had begun at the age of 4 when he learned piano. At the age of 11, he joined the Maestro Ilayaraja's troupe as a Keyboard player. He made his debut as a composer with the legendary film-maker G.R.Maniratnam’s film “Roja” which came out in 1992. Some of his popular music albums were for the movies like Rangeela, Bombay, Dil Se and Lagaan: Once upon a time in India.

Prabhu Deva is one among the populous cinema person in India. He was born in the year 1973 in Mysore to Sundaram. Sundaram is a popular dance master in South India. Prabhu Deva entered the film industry at the early age. He has assisted his father in the film Vetri Vizha, in which Kamal Hassan and Prabhu did the lead roles. He appeared in Raja song along with Karthik Muthuraman, in the film Agni Natchathiram, a Mani Ratnam movie. He started his career in the film industry as a dancer and choreographer and later, developed himself as an actor. He made his debut as a hero through, Kadhalan, a Shankar movie. This movie was a super hit with the super songs by A. R. Rahman.

S P Balasubrahmanyam is still considered to be one among the best musicians in the past three decades, in spite of the surge of various new comers. This legendary singer is reputed for his intense voice, profound knowledge of music, and a style of singing which is appreciated even today. SPB, as he is fondly called, has given his voice for more than 30000 songs. His name is recorded in the Guiness Book of World Records for singing several songs in a short span of time. He has sung the most in Telugu, the next being Tamil. He has also given his beautiful voice for Sanskrit slokas.  

Other than Telugu and Tamil SPB has sung in Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada too. SPB also tried his luck as music director in Telugu film industry (he had composed one film Sigaram in Tamil too). 

A south Indian singer becoming successful in Bollywood is quite a feat, but SPB achieved that. In fact, he was the regular for some of Salman Khan’s films including, the musical blockbuster Hum Aapke Hain Kaun. With his imminent voice, he also shined as a dubbing artist. 

Hailing from Andhrapradesh, SPB comes from a traditional Telugu Brahmin origin. SPB tested waters even in acting. His sister SP Sailaja is also a noted singer. Born on 4th June 1946, SPB gained interest in music very early. He got to know about the flute and harmonium by his own interest. He nevertheless followed the wish of his father and did an AMIE course. During his engineering days SPB took part in various singing competitions and garnered several awards. Music composer S P Kodandapani introduced SPB into singing for films, since he was attracted towards SPB’s voice. 

Sri Sri Sri Maryada Ramanna, a Telugu film, is the debut film (as a singer) of SPB which had music scored by S P Kodandapani. SPB made his foray into acting with the 1969 Telugu flick Pellante Noorella Panta. He worked in character roles in Telugu and Tamil. SPB worked as the dubbing artist for Kamal Haasan in most of his Telugu movies which were dubbed into Tamil. It is no wonder that SPB has several awards to his credit including, the Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri and 6 National Awards.

Nandamuri Balakrishna, the popular star in Tollywood, was received well by the entire South audiences with the movie, Sri Ram Rajyam. It is SPB, who dubbed for Balayya in the Tamil version of the film. Besides singing for the movies, SPB rendered his voice to the devotional music albums and the title songs for various TV Series. Nimmadhi Ungal Choice, Sondham, Sorgam, Vazhkai and Nambikkai are some of the series that got hit title songs with SPB’s voice. In 2010, he played in a film, “Naanayam,” as a businessman and his character was entirely different from that of the roles which he played previously. SPB Charan produced the movie. SPB had played in varieties of roles in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada movies and in TV Series too. "Jannal," a TV Series produced by Veteran director K Balachander was one of his perfect performances.

His latest film appearance was in the year 2018 with the Telugu film, Devadas featuring Akkineni Nagarjuna and “Nani” in the lead roles. The awards and honors received by SPB couldn’t be listed out on a single page. He had bagged a lot of awards from almost all the leading languages in which he worked.  SPB’s latest hit song in Tamil is Chumma Kizhi for Rajini in “Darbar,” which released in 2020. He reunited with “Ilaiyaraaja” in “Thamilarasan,” a movie featuring Vijay Antony. Devadas Parvathi is a film, which has a song by SPB and NV Arun composed the music. In Telugu, Nuvvu Naatho Emannavo from the film Disco Raja composed by S Thaman, was a super hit in 2020. Of late, he had also crooned in Palasa 1978, Cheema Prema Madhyalo Bhaama, Ayyappa Kataaksham, Neekosam and Badugu Jeevulu in Telugu.

SPB was admitted to a private hospital in Chennai in August 2020, due to the coronavirus attack. He had also posted a video about his recovery. Soon, it was announced that he tested negative of Coronavirus and his fans had a sigh of relief. However, he suffered from breathing issues and had been on life support for nearly a month. Group prayers were hosted and people across the world, who love him for his songs and his down to earth nature, prayed for him to get well soon. But, his health deteriorated on 24^th September 2020 and the legend breathed his last at 1:04 pm on 25^th September 2020, leaving his fans, family and friends in pain. SPB will be remembered forever, not only for his songs and acting but for his sweet nature that tied everyone to him. 

Kalanithi Maran is a famous tycoon in the world of Indian media. He was born on July 24th,1964 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Maran is the son of former Union Minister of Commerce, Murasoli Maran, and the grand nephew of former Tamil Chief Minister, M. Karunanidhi. He is the owner of various newspapers, radio stations, movie production house, DTH services, and weeklies. He was also an investor in Spice Jet, which is an Indian airline during the period from 2010 to 2015. Maran started off with his career in 1990 by launching a video magazine in the Tamil language which was for giving news in various fields. It started with the name Poomalaai. But due to several issues, it came to an end two years later in 1992.

In 1945, Yuen was born in Guangzhou, China. In 1947, he claimed his first guiding credit for the seminal Snake in the Eagle's Shadow. Following it is Scottish Master done with Jackie Chan. The talkie is a blockbuster hit helped Jackie Chan as a mega lead, turning seasonal Films into a serious freelance production company. He became the famous actor for his comedy as well as action series which is continuing to the current day. Yuen gone through the figure with some prominent forms like Yuen Biao in Battleship (1981), Sammo decorated in impressive Butcher (1979), In 1993 for the play Tai Chi Master, Donnie Yen in Iron Monkey (1993), and Wing Chun (1994).

Vishnuvardhan is an eminent director who is famous in the Tollywood industry. He is young and affluent and has seven hit movies to his credit. Vishnuvardhan is the eldest son of 'Kulasekaran' and was born on November 30. He completed his schooling at St. Bede's Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School and was a student of visual communication at Loyola College in Chennai. He has starred in Mani Ratnam’s ‘Anjali’ and in his teen years he acted in The Terrorist, ‘Fiza’, ‘Malli’ and ‘Asoka’.
