Plot

Kamini works on a TV channel and has been hosting a prank show. Her mom, being a single parent, lives only for her daughter, after her husband’s death. She had always advised her daughter not to earn a bad name to her, as she is brought up by a single parent. Kamini is a betting maniac. When anyone challenges her, she immediately goes for it. Her TV channel is shifted to a new place. Kamini and her friends decided to spend their time at their old office building for a night. Kamini bets to be nude for the whole night. In the next morning, she is found nude and there is nothing in the building to cover her body. What happened to her and who did this? Watch the film to know the rest.

Star Performance

Amala Paul is at her best. She looks like a beast in acting. Emotions come out naturally and the actress is very casual. Her body language is stunning while speaking with her mom and her friends. Although the rest of the stars are good in acting, the eyes focus only Amala, as her expressions are stunning and also her part is centralized.

Analysis

Rathna Kumar has scripted a different and unexpected story. The screenplay is crisp. The director receives appreciation for his dialogues relating to society and politics. He also speaks about feminism in the right note. Although Amala looks pretty good in the first half, the suspense and thrill that comes in the second half take her to the next level of acting. The cinematography is good. The makers had worked hard not to show the nudity in an awkward sense.

What’s There?

  • Performance of Amala Paul
  • Script and screenplay are impressive

What’s Not There?

  • The supporting characters should have been developed a bit

Verdict

For the performance of Amala Paul, the film could be watched once!
