Malayalam Movie Review Two Countries - Cast & Crew

This effervescent beauty, who has acted in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada films, is indeed a name to reckon with. This is not only due to her acting prowess, but also for her determination in battling cancer. Only recently, she opened up that she is very much alive in the industry; she is currently working in the flick Two Countries. 

Born on 14 November 1984, Mamta grew up in Bahrain. After doing her schooling in Bahrain she did her degree in Bangalore. Mamta tested waters in modeling before entering into the film industry. She got herself associated with print ads for big names. The 2005 Malayalam flick Mayookham by Hariharan was her first film. Though the film didn’t set the cash registers ringing Mamta was noticed for her performance. Later she ventured into Telugu, Tamil and Kannada films. Bus Conductor, Madhuchandralekha, Baba Kalyani, Sivappathigaram, Yamadonga, Victory, King and Chintakayala Ravi are some of the hit flicks of Mamta. 

Mamta possesses commendable knowledge in Tamil, English and Malayalam languages. Hence language didn’t prove to be an obstacle for her acting in films. Mamta is attuned in classical and Hindustani music. Mamta is also an acclaimed singer. Also, she is excited to ride her bike on the roads. In fact, she aspired to be a motorbike racer. She associated herself with Kochi International Fashion Week as a brand ambassador. Also, she was CCL’s Kerala Strikers’ Brand Ambassador during 2013. Mamta, who battled cancer, had to remove her hair, but she took it jovially. In fact, she never revealed about the disease to anyone till 2010. She was that sportive. 

Mamta was wedded to Prajith Padmanabhan on 2011, but they wanted to part ways on 2012. Swimming and basketball are the other passions of Mamta, apart from singing. Mamta has some awards to her credit for both her singing and acting prowess.

Aju Varghese is an Indian film actor, born to Varghese PK and Celiene Susan in the year 1985. He has a younger sister named Anju. He was born in Thiruvalla city located in Kerala. Aju completed his schooling in Rajagiri High School and further continued his studies in Bhavan’s Vidyalaya located in Ernakulum.

Shafi is one of the popular Telugu actors, who have got training in acting. He attended the class in the National School of Drama and holds a degree in acting. The institution has produced talented actors like Naseerudin Shah, Anupam Kher and Om Puri, the legends in the Indian cinema industry. shafi was introduced to the cinema through the film Khadgam. Khadgam was directed by Krishna Vamsi and this film yielded the best debutant award for Shafi. He has acted in Varsham, Pranam, Danger, Khadha, Telugammayi, Golconda High School, Killer, Wanted, Sahasra and many more Telugu movies. He has also acted in few Tamil movies such as Kutti Pisasu, Sindhanai Sei, Bheema and Thenavattu. Almost all the films are successful films in his career. Kamli is the film, in which Shafi did the lead role along with the National Award winner Nandita Das. This film won the National Award for the Best Regional Film in the year 2006. This movie was played at the Asian Movie Festival in Mumbai and also at the Busan International Film Festival held in Korea. The film Chathrapathi gave him an opportunity to expose his talent and he won the Best Supporting Actor Award by Cine Goers. Bharathamuni Award was presented to Shafi for providing the supporting role in Khaleja. 

Rafi is a very famous director and screenwriter in the Malayalam film industry. he was born in Kerela and completed his schooling from there. He started his career in 1992 with a close acquaintance Mecartin who was also a newbie. After his debut or rather their debut they both have been working together and now the duo is known in association with each other. They are known for their comedy films and have successfully directed many superhit movies. Rafi’s brother Shafi is also a director by profession but has not been as successful as his brother yet. This duo is indeed appreciated for their togetherness.
